Hi Sub,

Just wondering if the Cyberlink remote (the one come with any non ATI 550 Elite) is supported in gbpvr? I tried using it as an MCE remote and it seems like everything worked except some advance function and the BACK button doesn't work which creates a lot of problem trying to get out of the TV Guide Screen. Can you also consider creating a BACK button in that menu?

Great program tho. Absolutely LOVE IT!!!!!!!!

Yes, the Cyberlink remote does work, assuming its the same one that came with my Sapphire Theatrix 550 Pro, including the BACK button.

There is still several buttons in the white square that dont work (SAP, LANGUAGE, ANGLE etc) as these dont really map onto any existing GB-PVR feature, but BACK is supported.

Make sure you are running v0.94.13, since it was only a couple of days before this that I received my remote and added a few extras for it. Less keys work in earlier builds.

I have the newest version of gbpvr, however, I ran into some problem of the cyberlink remote losing its function periodically. My back button was working, but after a few days later it stopped working. The same thing applies to the skip button (not FF, or REW). And I am actually pointing at the reciever within 1 meter range so distance was not a problem.

Sub, since you have the cyberlink remote, can you add a profile for this remote explicitly in the next release or so? Other than that, this software kicks butt!

Hi Sub, first thanks for supporting this remote. It's cool. Is there any way I can control the mapping of this remote to keys? I'd like to add a few things. Here's also a suggestion: The ANGLE key can be used for Aspect Ratio during playbak. It's close enough. Thanks, GGF

In fact, I cannot use the remote without these things -
I have tons of stuff that is 16:9 and I must use the aspect ratio button (F7) to see it properly.
In the Hauppauge 34 remote I mapped the unnamed button near "mute" to F7... But in this remote, there is no "Menu" functionality, and no "Aspect".
There is a "Home" button (at the ver top left - it has an icon of a house on it, but no text).
And the ANGLE button appears to have been a good mapping for ASPECT/F7.
Another thing that's missing is the counterpart of the Hauppauge's green "Go" button...

Thanks,
GGF

I'll be improving the support for this remote in the coming releases. I only got the remote a couple of days before the last release, and I quickly added support for the colour buttons and fixed the audio buttons which I saw as the most important short term requirements.
