Hi,

I've been looking for the command line parameters for gbpvr.exe startup and haven't been able to find them. Can someone point out where they are please?

I'm interested in the POSITION parameters, so that I can start up GB-PVR windowless on my secondary monitor (TV out), noting that my TV is in another room.

Thanks

Still having some trouble here:confused:

I can use this to launch GB-PVR in windowed mode to my secondary screen (my primary screen resolution is 1280x1024) by using "gbpvr.exe -pos:1300,10,100,100" for example,

however when I set non-windowed mode (in the config app) it expands out on the PRIMARY monitor and not the SECONDARY monitor. That is I'm trying to find a way to automatically start GBPVR on the secondary monitor & not in windowed mode.

Any ideas/suggestions?

I've got girder allowing me to remotely launch/close gbpvr but now just need to make sure when it launches it goes to the secondary monitor (i.e. TV in the other room).

Thanks again

PS. I'd also be interested (although this is not as important to me as the above) to know if there's a command line switch for gbpvr for runing in windowed mode YES/NO?

use
"gbpvr.exe" -pos:1300,10,100,100
you only quote around the executable, not the params.

sorry reven - the quotes were only meant for the post in this forum - my command line launching of gbpvr is working fine, I'm just stuck trying to get GBPVR automatically fill the secondary monitor (not primary) in non-windowed mode.

Let me know if I'm not being clear and I'll try to explain better. I'm really keen to work this one out though if anyone knows.

Hi Sub - actually can you confirm whether what I"m trying to do is possible at all? I'm just thinking that perhaps it may be an inherit constraint within GB-PVR and how it is coded to implement the "windowless" feature??? - thanks

I dont know I've only got one monitor. I'm sure other people have done it before.

From memory, most video cards come with some utility which allows you to specify which monitor an application will start on, this combined with fullscreen mode should be enough, no need to use -pos or any other command line parameters.

thanks - I checked my graphics driver and it was quite old - downloaded the new one and was quite amazed how much new functionality it had, including the feature I needed

I'm trying this today and command-lines aren't working for some reason, maybe i'm doing it wrong though.
I load gbpvr with a command line, and it runs gbpvr, but is ignoring the command line. Both inside my irremote.ini file, as well as if i run it manually through "Run". Can someone confirm this and help please? Thanks in advance!!

GRNPOWER={run(C:\Progra~1\devnz\gbpvr\gbpvr.exe -LiveTV -topmost)}

or manually in Run to test.
c:\Progra~1\devnz\gbpvr\gbpvr.exe -LiveTV -topmost
"C:\Program files\devnz\gbpvr\gbpvr.exe" -LiveTV -topmost

nothing is doing anything. What me doing wrong here?
