I'm new to NextPVR. I have a windows 7 box running XBMC with a Hauppauge 2250 installed. I'm currently using an OTA antenna but I plan on adding cable later.
When trying to play live TV, I get a black screen with no audio. I've attached the logs for review.
I'm pretty sure it's not a hardware or driver problem, since I've been able to set up and get it successfully working in Windows Media Center. I'd prefer NextPVR and XBMC, however.
Please see attached logs and let me know if there is anything I can do to get this working.

If it needs documenting then I do not mind helping but likewise from what I can follow on this thread nothing is particularly clear as hints to pointing at other threads etc? This seems to be a very hard plugin to find! If it is no longer active then ignore this post

How does ndroid te search work? If I select search from the left hand menu it says search top left of the screen, but there's nowhere to type anything.
I've just set up a DVB-S2 card for receiving Freesat transmissions. NextPVR has picked up the channels and I can view them fine, but the EPG update doesn't seem to be working.
I've installed the update as per patch 10 here - http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...arted-Info - and set all my channels to EPG type 'Freesat'. Clicking the Update EPG button causes an 'updating' window to flash briefly on the screen, but it doesn't seem to have fetched the EPG. (I have current & next program showing for the current channel, but nothing further into the future than that.)

When I manually fix a conflict the conflict screen does not update right away. I think it waits for an epg update then checks on the conflicts. Is there a way to trigger a conflict check from the UI?
Maybe this is already a feature and I just don't know how to do it:
I understand the EPG is searched for show names that are either:
- An exact match or
- Starts with "Show Name....."
But TV3 in NZ has this annoying policy of naming new seasons episodes with "All New...." and I wonder how long they will maintain that policy.
e.g. I recorded a season of "Ice Road Truckers" last year and left that in my recurring recordings for the next season, but now TV3 has "All New Ice Road Truckers" it gets missed unless I enter have that as a recurring recording as well.
If I can select that I want to record all shows that CONTAIN the text "Ice Road Truckers" then all of the shows could be picked up.
Currently if a tuner is in use in another program and npvr tries to use that tuner it records a 0 byte file. Could it instead realize the tuner is in use, not record a 0B file and look for a repeat of the program and record it?

recently I moved over from GBPVR to NPVR. I waited until I had a new old system to install it on, to not have downtime. This is crucial for the W.A.F.
Everything went smooth, including installation of 2 x PVR150MCE and 1 x PVR350, and 3 Hauppauge MediaMVP clients. My setup is all analog and this is all fine.
By a scheduled task in windows every night an XML file is composed with WebGrab+. But this file is not automatically imported in NPVR, even thought the most recent location of that xml file can be found in the config file, and the checkbox at the misc tab is turned on.
I came across the script folder when I started researching this problem. However, I think the EPG update.bat file is only needed if you want NPVR to initiate an XML update prior to importing EPG data, right? I don't need this.
The only way to get my tvguide filled is to manualy hit EPG update on the Channels tab in settings. Then it works, although I get a lot off errors and question marks in the data.
My question: what is the trick to have NPVR automatically import my guide.xml?
I've configured NEWA and have access through all of my devices on my LAN. When I try to connect from outside my LAN I'm able to pull up the NEWA page with the guide. However I'm unable to stream. The VLC window comes up but the stream never starts. I have the port configured on my router and have checked off the webserver box in the NextPVr set up. What am I missing? Thanks!
Is there any interest in having imageGrabLite special case the current season of 24? From the outset it has been a problem since tvdb.com didn't match the episode name with Fox. That is fixed and now the biggest problem is the use of colons and the name itself. I think the name that matches XBMC/Plex best is simply
