I have a series set to only keep 5 episodes. If I archive an episode, is it protected from the auto delete once I reach 5 episodes? I would assume so, since it is "archived", but I can not find in the wiki if this is true.
My wife and I watched Grey's Anatomy, she deleted it, then started browsing other folders. An Unhandled Exception dialog appeared.
I move the mouse over the Continue button (mouse is hidden behind it), clicked, and we continued like it never happened.

Until recently returning to Australia, I was using TVxb and updateEPG.bat to populate the EPG without issues. However, now that the EPG is within the DVT stream and I don't use Pay TV, my UpdateEPG,bat file is now empty.
Whilst I can update the EPG manually from the System plugin, and can also have individual channels update when watching during LiveTV, the auto-update of the EPG at 5AM results in many entries of the EPG being cleared with 'no show details'.
Attached are extracts of NRECORD and NVPR logs around the times of the automatic update (5AM) , and the manual update (11:14AM). The only thing that seem significantly different is that the 5AM update doesn't report saving as many listing at the manual update does (eg auto update reports in NRecording.log only a handful of listings saved, whereas the manual update reports in NPVR.log hundreds of listings being saved)
I note that the logs report "Asking NDigitalHost to start: c:\devxxxxxx\null.ts". I do not see this file in the c: folder, however, maybe this gets cleaned up.
Yes, I know I am a number of versions out of date (2.5.5), but my machine spec's are starting to age (incl XP), so I'd like to stick with an older version and the assumption that resource requirements may be less. There must be something unique about my setup, as I can't believe this is a bug in NPVR 2.5.5. However, if this is indeed a bug, then I guess I'll need to try a newer version.

After updating the sw to 3.2.9 the EPG info has gone missing. If I Watch a channel the EPG gets updated but the next morning it's all gone.
I have been experiencing 4G disturbances and have replaced my antenna with built in amplifier to one with the LTE bands excluded. It's better but not perfect.
I plan to install a proper filter plus an amp with limited bandwidth to eliminate the disturbances from saturating the pre amp and corresponding mixed harmonics.
I attach the logs since I suspect that my problem is not related entirely to the disturbances sinece it's OK to load EPG while watching the channels. I made a manual EPG update too so the you can have maxamount of data to analyze

I have had a PCH working successfully for some time now, but having got a new router I was forced to change the ip address range I was using. Since then I have failed to get the PCH working again. I have changed the address in the settings on the box. The box gets as far as the press enter to stop loading NPVR screen but never loads.
Am I right in thinking that to get this screen means that the PCH is communicating with the media server correctly, if so I don't understand why it now does not load NPVR. Is there another reference to the old ip addresses somewhere I have forgotten that needs changing.
Must be something obvious it is only a couple of ip addresses that changed,
Is there a control for subtitle size and color? I've looked through other posts and haven't found anything on this topic. I'm asking because a film I watched on my server NPVR had different color and size subtitles than it did when watched on the client NPVR.
After a fresh install of 3.2.9, I immediately go to the TV Guide screen and try to "watch" a show.
Get "an existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host" error, and have to stop the app to get things cleared up.
I'm using 2 DCR-2650's.
Some time back Sub gave me a patch (ForcedIP.XML) to get these tuners working.
Don't know if this has anything to do with that.

I was someone could please help me configure NextPVR? This is my first time using it (I'm trying to break away from WMC).
I live in Brisbane, Australia. I have a Windows 8.1 HTPC, with a VideoMate E900F dual tv tuner card (it's listed as a "7164 BDA DVBT Tuner") in NextPVR's Devices screen.
Scans only pick up 14 of the, roughly, 30 digital channels. Set top boxes using the same antenna pick up all channels.
I think WMC picks up a few more channels than NextPVR. WMC doesn't pick up ALL channels.
The channels I do get seem to be working fine ie codecs are ok etc.
The two main channel groups I don't get are SBS and Nine. Research indicates this is a common problem for this TV card. Some people have had luck manually adding channels.
So... my questions;
1. Where do I find the nextpvr.log file? I'd like to attach it
2. Given this information;
SBS ONE(SBS):184500000:INVERSION_AUTO:BANDWIDTH_7_MHZ
What would the import channel XML look like? Is that the best way to go about adding a channel manually?
