Hi I,m new to Nextpvr I,m having problems with DVB subtitles on UK HD broadcasts whether recorded or live, when they are switched on npvr crashes when it attempts to display subtitles.
subtitles are ok with SD material recorded or live.log attached

Installed NextPVR 3.1.1 under Windows 8.1 and managed to have video/audio without too much difficulties. Now I have couple of newbie questions.
1 - In the setting, I set the aspect ratio to 16:9 but the screen still have a black bar on top and bottom. How do I get rid of it.
2 - I have setup for "live TV" but I have a blank screen when I start the app. I have to right click to get to the channel listing and select a channel before I have video/audio. Is there a way for it to remember my last channel and use it when I restart the app?

hi, just wondering how ndroid managed to get recording/live tv playback working on android?

i tried using a m3u8 in a html5 video tag without success. and ive tried using the VideoView, but the ts files recorded arent supported.

do you use the transcode option? if so what transcoding settings do you use?

only thing i managed to get to play was a simple mp4 file i had laying around, that was using the stream?f= option.

I'm 98% ready to go live on the server with NextPVR but I have a number of recurring recordings setup in GB-PVR that are not currently in the epg that I would really like to get transferred across before taking the plunge.....

The question is if I manually make my own recurring-backup file do I have to worry about the "<oid>62</oid>"? .... I can get the "<ChannelOID>7162</ChannelOID>" easily enough by setting up recurring for each channel & then doing an epg update but I have no idea about the other oid??

Recently I lost the ability to watch or record ATSC physical channel 38 3: 24.1 KSEE-HD. Recordings report failed-inability to lock a signal, and watching yields a black screen. Oddly there is no problem with 24.2. I am able to watch 24.1 through the HD Homerun GUI, and it reports strong signal. I rescanned the tuners in NPVR just in case, and the channel was found. Also emptied the EPG and then updated the EPG without apparent issues with the offending channel.

Any ideas why NPVR has a problem with this channel? It's a new development as this is a channel I've always had access to. I've attached logs.

Black screen on both live and recorded. I know its a decoder, I just can't figure out. I know it will be something simple that I missed... so thank you in advance!

New install of 7, i3 w/ 4gb ram. HD Homerun Prime, I have a radeon 6670 to put in it when I put it in the media center case... which is hopefully later tonight!

It has H.264 compression in hardware, the question is if it is BDA compatible?
