Since upgrading to the new version (2.1.4) and the updated NEWA, I've been unable to play anything recorded from the All Recordings list.
Trying to do so says "Unable to Contact NPVR server!" when going into a directory that contains multiple items, or clicking and nothing happening with a single recording.
Playing items in the "What's New" list work fine, indeed the same items currently in there play fine, but NOT when I select them from the All Recordings area.
I attached my xbmc log to start. If you look toward the end of it you can see errors where I tried to play a couple of items.
I'm having some trouble with SD playback width on my HTPC since I rebuilt my system a few months back and am finally getting round to working on it. It's only with SD recordings, HD are fine. The width of the SD video jitters a bit when playback starts, but ends up being about 1/4 of the width of our HD TV. I suspect this is related to the decoder selections, but I have them set the same as I did prior to the rebuild (based on a backup copy of my config.xml).
The SD recordings plays back fine on out NMTs and in XBMC, so the issue is obviously a setting in NPVR.
Any suggestions for other decoders to try?

I tried to change from my test NPVR server to my proposed main server and found I could not change the IP address in the settings menu.
Pressing enter (more correctly, the key in the middle of the direction arrows) the app locks up. The only way out that I could find was to use the smart hub key. Return and backup had no effect. Out of curiosity I tied the port setup and it was the same. I haven't noticed this anywhere else.
By coincidence, just before trying this I was wondering if there is any way to install the app twice with differing setups for just my purpose of alternative servers.
I also had an non-reproducable oddity where I went to play a recording and pressed stop before it had started (drive spun down I guess) and it exited back to the recordings list and but with a dark backround rather than the blue one and a moment later started playing the recording as the background. The only way I found to stop it was to press play and then stop. I tried a couple of times again, but could not make it do it again.
Has anyone else noticed that the planner does not always register that a program is set for recording on the first try?
I have experienced the issue a few times and have ended up with more than one copy of the same program being recorded as a result of duplicating the record request. The program always appears to register the second request but not the first when in fact it has actually set up recording for both requests.
I just experienced a database lock error whilst scheduling a number of recordings one after the other in TV Listings.
Yes I am running a pre-release of NPBR but I don't think that this should be an issue and I have experienced a few locking problems in the past whilst on a public release.
I have attached the logs and would appreciate it if you could have a look when you have some time please.
[edit] let me know if you think I should post this in the NPVR forum instead.
Is it possible to manage the order in which channels appear to a more common order? E.g. BBC1, BBC2, ITV, Ch 4, Ch 5 etc... At the moment they are listed as the tuner found them.
I've a DVB-T, which is plugged into the back of my Nettop PC, I'm using XBMC front-end mainly.
Also, I'm also looking to get a DVB-S2 connector and with the DVB-T in the same PC, would like to be able to combine a complete list of Freeview and Freesat HD channels.
Quick question. My now and next popup screen time is ahead by 6 hours (central time zone compared to GMT) Where does NPVR draw this time from and how do I change it?
