Sorry if the answer is somewhere, I did search but found nothing.

I try to have teletext when I'm watching live tv or a recording from live tv but the plugin returns the message "No teletext available".
I tried to watch a recoding with VLC and I can activate the teletext, so I guess the info in there, in the file. Do I need to do something to pass the teletext from NextPvr to xbmc or the feature is still not available in the plugin ?

My setup:

Windows 8
XBMC 12.3
NextPvr 3.1.1 with the patch
nextpvr xbmc 1.6.5

Don't know why, but NPVR on a client machine has stopped working with live TV. NPVR is working fine on the server machine. Logs attached and screenshoot of error message I get occasionally. When that error message doesn't appear and I click on a show in the guide and tell it to "watch", NPVR acts like it's going to play the live TV (LAV audio filer shows up in task tray etc.). The "...please wait..." dialog comes up and then goes away and the LAV filter disappears. Other times NPVR just hangs.

I know you can delete channels from the setup->channels area, but I don't want to delete those channels permanently.

What I want is to get rid of all the channels that have no guide data (since they don't map to the xml file) from showing up on the guide.

If I delete the channel from setup->channels, then it doesn't show up in the guide, however, when I do live tv, and right click channels to get the box of channels... it won't show up anymore.

So, is there any good way to do this without actually deleting the channel ? I just don't want the guide to show channels that have '(no show data)', but, still access it via liveTV, if I want.

I just updated to the latest version, and I ran into an odd problem.
In the guide, I selected quick record, and normally, that would show the channel in question as red.
However, in this case, the guide had (no show info) or whatever it says... [didn't have any EPG guide data] well, anyway, it didn't change to red.
The recording *was* being done though, as confirmed by the status window, and also the file on the HD.

I wanted to cancel it, and... there was no option to do that, since as far as the guide was concerned, there was no recording going on.
So, I had a run away recording going on, and the only way to stop it was to turn off the service.
That made the recording stop. Restarted the service, and the recording went on recording. It just didn't want to die.
The guide still didn't show anything for that channel, and status was still showing recording.

So, how do you stop this type of thing from going on, if this happens again ?

And, before you can ask for logs, I thought it might have been a artifact from the old version of npvr, so I nuked all data without thinking about saving the logs.

I have three DVB-S tuners in this PC, 2xHVR-3000's & 1x HVR-4000, I have set them up with one transponder/mux per card (to avoid loosing padding on recordings) (apart for C4 which is enabled on all three cards).... I can watch live TV off all three transponders, but when I go to setup a recording from TV3 & another recording from Prime (or vies-versa) I get the old no tuner available do you want to cancel message.... which is a tad weird as TV3 is on one of the hvr-3000's & Prime is on the hvr-4000??? logs attached

Is there any way to add to, or change the name of an existing genre?

I realize there are quite a few of them already, but I would like to use one for "Premiere"s of new shows.

I will modify the XML to accomodate the new tag.

Installed ImageGrabLite using the installer. Every time I try to start it from the command line to make sure it works, I get an error saying the program is closing. It does it with ou without parameters.

Anyone knows what could be the source of the problem ?

Have recently downloaded and installed NextPvr having given up on Splash Lite.

When I try to scan for devices I get the following message:

"Unmanaged.dll" and HRESULT:0X800736B1

I am using a Hauppauge USB dongle (900 series) on a Dell XPS pc running Vista Home Premium edition.

I've had this problem for years now but it's bugging me at the moment.

I have a KVM connected to two machines. Everything is fine except for the mouse. I use a Logitech wireless multi-button mouse and in particular I make a lot of use of the scroll wheel and a button on the side which acts like the "Back" button when using a web browser.
The problem is, when I switch the KVM between machines, the mouse signal is dropped then re-established with the result it seems to be re-configured as a generic PS/2 compatible mouse and I lose the scroll wheel and special function buttons.

So the question is, is there an easy command-line way of telling windows to re-scan PnP devices in the way it does at startup so it will load the Logitech driver? I tried going to Device Manager and getting it to update the driver but all it does is search for a newer PS/2 compatible driver rather than detect the mouse correctly. If I uninstall the driver it tells me I have to restart (which defeats the object as a restart will find the mouse as a Logitech one and load the correct driver).
