Hi.
Just if someone looking for good remote controller.
After few years i finally found working remote controler for my HTPC - PC Maxter PLUS.
Resuming from standby finally works for me!
Remote controller is working really nice with nPVR without any software, i just removed WMC from my Win7 installation, becouse some buttons was starting it.
And the IR reciever is black not white.
I am not getting picture or sound from my old ATI TV Wonder 650 card. Was working on old PC but can't see to get it to work on the new one. Both are 64-bit Windows 7. Just installed latest version of NPVR on new one did not copy any files over. I have attached a zip of the log files and a print screen of the decoders page.
I've upgraded to the latest version and now I'm seeing lip sync problems. I'm using a UN32F5500 TV and I can't get the sound to match up with the video.
I've taken the install package offline while I'm doing some maintenance on my web server, it should be back up within 24 hours (hopefully less than that)
I am wondering if there is a way to download the Samsung NextPVR latest zip folder? I have another Samsung Smart TV app I am testing and I get tired of having to change the IP address to install one app vs the other. I have already downloaded the other app zip folder and put it on a local Apache server that I can successful install on my Samsung TV. Was wondering if it would be possible to provide a download link that will always have the latest version of the app linked to it so I can test both apps and install from my local IP server?
Having just setup my device in npvr with 150 odd blaster channel numbers I would like them in that order in the EPG rather than the random order that they took from importing the EPG....
In effect what I would like is the channel table number field replaced with the channel_mapping table channel_source_number where the channel_mapping channel_oid is the same as the channeloid
I suspect it is easy to do but all my attempts so far have failed dismally...... ;(
Hi.
If started manually, IE, you click on either NDigitalHost.exe or NCableCardHost.exe, the program will throw an exception. Even though this is not the correct way to start NextPVR, is it still worth the trouble to fix this bug?
Thanks.
First time poster. I have been using Next PVR for roughly 3 months and am slowly learning all the great benefits of this software. I have recently encountered an issue with playback.
Current system - laptop with i5-3317u processor using integrated intel hd4000 graphics. OS is Win 8, storage is running off a portable usb3.0 hdd. I am hoping to build a true HTPC within the next 6 months or so. TV tuner is an silicon dust homerun dual (hdhr3). NPVR version 3.1.1 with most recent updates.
Issue #1 - some recorded tv shows allow me to resume a recording and some recorded tv shows do not. Upon resume request a black screen is
received with no audio
Issue #2 - the same recordings that allow resume also allow "skip/fast forward/rewind" functions while the non resume files do not.
I am leaning towards either a codec issue or just some messed up files on the back end.
I will add a zip file of my logs once I figure out how to create one in winzip
I don't know if this is something that could be solved with IGL. The new season of Castle started which reminded me that XBMC does not properly process it for display in it's "Recently Add" TV shows list or it's TV Show section.
I have IGL set to rename recordings.
I have XBMC set to scan my recordings directory.
This works PERFECTLY for shows without duplicate series in the past.
Example:
Almost Human/Almost.Human.s01e07.Simon Says -> works
Castle/Castle (2009).s6e11.Under Fire -> does not work
Based on my experience with other shows that have the same series titles and XBMC, it is very likely failing because NPVR's directory name is just "Castle" and not "Castle (2009)" as is being correctly identified by IGL in the episode name. XBMC finds the first show name "Castle" at The TV Db, which this one isn't, doesn't find a matching episode/season, and skips it.
Could a feature request for IGL be for it to also rename the directory name to match the show name as found by The TV Db (or whatever source it is using?)
I have spent last 4 hours messing with my new instal of NPVR but still can not make Live TV to work. I have searched forums for hints and tricks but have not suceeded.
Basically, I am running Win7 x64 Ultimate with NextPVR 3.1.1 patched to R1a
Device (TBS 6928 DVB-S2 receiver) is detected just fine, I can configure and tune all channels as expected. Also EPG works.
I have installed DX9 runtime, SAF6.2.2, disabled firewall completelly, I am launching NPVR under administrator account. In order to exclude HW or signal issue I have installed and tested MediaPortal, works all right.
Still whenever I select Live TV in NPVR , all I get is black screen and no audio. Afer about 8 secs I get this "Tuner you were using was required for recording, would you like to switch watch recording or exit back to menu" error message. I have no recordings set at all and the only option in this message window listed is infact to "Exit back to menu".
At this time, new 0 lenght .ts file is created in C:\Temp directory. This directory has full access controll right assigned to everyone.
Logs attached.
Please help me to get NPVR running.
