I've bumped into an inconvenient interface issue that should be easily solvable...

When I scanned for channels in the Devices page, I got a nice list of channels and accompanying details that specify the frequency and SID.

But when I go to the Channels page, the channel detail from the scan is gone.

Unfortunately when I am trying to match my channels to the channels from Schedules Direct, many of the names don't match. But SD tells me the frequency -- which I can no longer see on the Channels page. So I end up leaving the page and going back to the Devices page to look at the details of the channel so that I can then return to the Channels page and correctly match the channel to Schedules Direct. This is quit onerous and time consuming.

It would be so much easier if the Channel detail picked up from the device scan was also reported on the Channels page/list and particularly within the Channel Details page. It would save lots of hopping around - and why not display all the information available about a channel?

I'm performing a new installation of NextPVR v3.1.1. I've added my devices (4 ATSC tuners (Hauppage and HDHomeRun) and scanned for channels.

I would now like to add my Schedules Direct EPG that I have used in the past for a previous NextPVR installation...It's not working...

I was able to provide my Schedules Direct username and password and have it offer my 2 lineups and see the associated channel listings. But when I specify a mapping to a channel in my second lineup, it just gets blanked out when I return to the channel details. It is instead displaying my first lineup as the lineup and the mapping is blank.

On the other hand, if I map a channel to something in my first lineup, the choice stays when I return to the details screen. Any idea why it is behaving like this? Unfortunately all the channels I need are in the second lineup.

I'm unable to post any log info as changing these settings does not result in any logging.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

With the extreme cold winter in USA and heavy rain in western Europe, temperatures 25 C above normal here, I wonder, are we seeing a climate change?

Sub, would it be possible to implement an adjustable delay on dvb subtitles? Some channels have subtitles almost a second ahead of the audio/video.

I see that you can change the groups in the "Now Playing" window, but it does not update the channel listings. Should it? I guess it would be nice to display the list of channels that belong to the group.

I have a Hauppauge HD PVR2 running NextPVR. My EPG is Schedules Direct and it's set to my local area (I am on Shaw Direct Satellite Eastern Canada). The problem is NextPVR is not switching to the selected channel. Lets say I select channel 256 either using the guide or by typing the number in NextPVR. Channel changes to something entirely different. I checked and if I am running the Hauppauge WinTV software, I can type in the channel and it sends the right command to the set top box but NextPVR sends a different number sequence.

Has anyone else run into this problem and if so, any fix for this. I checked all the options in NextPVR and found no settings to correct this.

Auto update, reconfigured the settings...now when I start a TV show the OSD (with channel logo etc.) it won't disappear....is this an issue or I need to press a key to have it 'disappear'? As in it it isn't automatically disappearing like it did previously after about 5 seconds of starting a Live TV stream...

Hello there.
My new TV tuner stick claims to be able to pick up digital radio stations, but NEXTpvr can only catch 5 digital radio stations, even though I know there are many more. I am unable to use the digital radio software that came with the card because the software is not very friendly with my screen reader, so I have no way of verifying weather the device is able to receive all digital radio stations or just the 5 ones that NextPVR is able to pick up.
Can anyone help?

I have been getting some odd screen corruption. - see screenshots of good vs bad. Odd, Oriental-style characters appearing.
I also note that the righthand side window seems to be not updated.

Also when I am at 'ready recordings' and click to go down into that directory/category I get an empty left half of the screen - however, if I press 'exit' the expected yes/no popup appears bun in the background the previously missing recordings show up.
It's almost as painting the screen is playing up.
Deleted, switched off/on and reinstalled the app with the same reproducible result. Can't say I saw this previously??

I have a fresh install and live tv changes from showing a picture to black screen after about 3 seconds. Audio is not affected.

i have cycled through the different decoders and do not see a difference. Any ideas?
