Anyhow the functionality most relevant for my usage is accessing the guide via http (newa) and viewing the various stations in the guide via browser/vlc
The guide is populated, however, when I left-click on "View Live", the pop-up window looks like:

when i click on the "top" play button, nothing changes.
when I click on the "bottom" play button, the status changes from "Idling" to the URL ->
[ATTACHMENT NOT FOUND]
(Running VLC v2.0.8 on the local machine and v2.0.8 on server) - tried back-revving to v2.0.3 on both server/client as a result of another post however, same result.
Well here are the questions in order, folks. I did a but load of searching here; and some I had no relevant hits (#1 for example). Others referenced GBPVR which I take it has been morphed into what NPVR is today, and was unsure if/how that info applied. More background later in post.
1. USB-UIRT - this is supported via the IRSS plugin. Ok. Sage allowed me to have more than one of these units by defining device_number in Dave's .ir file. Any such support here, since the IRT can support 3 zones, and I have 4 hd STBs (uverse)?
2. Colossus/HDpvr - I have 4 of these devices - namely 3x colossus, 1xhdpvr. Current setup is component + RCA with stb fixed at 1080i. I am able to get video preview on the server side from only 1. The others give me a noAudioVideo but preview/work fine in sage or the Win tv app. Ideas?
3. Got the schedule direct plugin going on server side, set up account with 2 lineups: my local uverse lineup, and my local ota lineup (I have 3xhdhr dual units on the network so as not to waste uverse "tuners" for local recordings.). Channels are populated but no data in guide.
4. Stuck on where to go from here but the above would get me on my way. I think I would need to assign channels to the colossi/hdpvr inputs or HD Hr net tuners as appropriate.
Media portal looked promising but it's a total mess on he tvserver side. Then I found xbmc will use NPVR as a tv back end, and figured I could do something with that. Right now I am split wih sage doing recordings but running out of java heap with the colossus units, hdpvr and 6xota tuners. MCE7 does my movies + pdvd and Netflix plugin including 3d blu. I would like to unify, and like the cross platform prospect of xbmc as a client since we have macs and pcs floating around.
The "server" is virtualized on esxi 5 with the colossi x 3, and an entire usb3 controller passed thru, along with an M1510, and the onboard intel Sata (z68 i5 2400) controller for time shift/DVr storage. The M1510 leads to an external large JBOD array with built in expander.
Clients are mostly win7 i3 itx boxes with hd3000 graphics allowing bit streaming etc. small ssds to boot them.
I am at my wits end and now must beg for help. I have an Elgato EyeTv Hybrid, I use it for windows media center and it works amazing, it picks up in my NextPvr application, but never finds any channels, I believe the reason is, my channels come in as (2.1, 3.1, etc..) And NextPvr searches (1,2, etc..) This usb tuner works fine with WMC as stated before, anyone have any ideas, Im just trying to get this to work.

My issue relates to 'streaming' and playback of LiveTV from a Win7 install of nPVR to a standard RaspberryPi. This appears to be limited to the Muxes that use higher data rates for programming. I say this based on my limited understanding rather than actual knowledge. It appears to me that the BBC in particular tends to transmit a higher data rate (less compression?) I have seen this as larger .ts files when recording (nearly twice the size of other channels like 'Drama').
I have searched in vain for information that confirms this and was looking for any technical details that were available to confirm this.
The upshot of this is that while I can watch both 'Live' and Recorded' TV for many channels it is not really usable for BBC channels and is affecting the WAF (wife approval factor) which needs to be high so I can switch to XBMC / nPVR full time...
I will be 'overclocking my RaspberryPi this week (from 700Mhz to 900MHz) and hope this 30% increase in processing will be enough to overcome the shortfall I am seeing.
Of course this could be caused by limitations on the LAN. I am using WiFi (which is not ideal I know) but as the house hasn't been cabled with CAT5 is a show stopper for me. I was looking at providing a separate WiFi SSID just for the media players (separate uncontested channel). Is there any way of identifying the bottleneck, ie differentiate between processor power and connectivity.
I'm setting up 2.6.2 on an older Windows XP system with an HDHomeRun dual tuner (NOT Prime).
When I scan for channels in Device Setup, I'm getting no channels.
Just as background, I set up a Windows 7 PC on the same network and have NPVR and the HDHomeRun working fine there, so I'm familiar with most of the setup steps.
Back to the XP system:
The HDHomeRunSetup and HDHomeRunGui runs ok and sees all the channels
I've added NDigitalHost, NextPVR, NRecord to the Firewall exception list. Further, I've turned off the Firewall entirely.

I started using gbpvr and npvr just over 3 years ago - great tool!
But, my old motherboard just died and I now have a semi-new computer running Win 7 64-bit Home Premium OEM. Same video card - ATI All-in-Wonder HD. Checked prerequisites and I think I exceed all. DirectX is 11, well beyond 9.0c. Windows Installer seems to be 5.0+. .NET seems to be 4.5, I think. .NET 2.0 won't install - says not compatible with a 64-bit system. C++ 2008 stuff seemed to go OK. None of them mean much to me . . . (Took MULTIPLE efforts of versions installed/uninstalled, etc. Win 7 seems to have some stuff already in it.)
NPVR seemed to install OK (finally) and I got the standard default screen. Unfortunately, after I chose right-clicked and then Settings and Device, Device is empty! No ATI card - no nothing. Bummer. What do I do next???
I didn't load any drivers for the ATI card for Win 7 - it just works. And when I run dxdiag to check on DirectX it shows the ATI. And I get a display on my TV as a second/extended monitor on my Sony LCD TV, using the HDMI out of the video card.
Suggestions, please? Do I need to take the chance of trying to manually "change" drivers? How do I tell NPVR to find the device?
I think I have attached a log. I tried to .zip all files, but one in that folder wouldn't. Perhaps still in use? Win 7 differs from XP in showing icons in the "system tray."
Have version 2.6.2 installed. Have channels mapped via a subscription to Schedules Direct. Since NextPVR has integrated support, is an UpdateEPG.bat needed? If not where in the config do I make the necessary settings?
