Is there any way I can add a raw frequency of an analog channel?

This is because the default channel set of my country set in NextPVR cannot detect a channel at VHF 76.25MHz, and I'm not able to access it via the channel numbers only.

Hi, is there any difference between recording with 1 or 2 tv tuners? Such as recording 6 channels (mixture of HD & SD) of a mux with 1 tv tuner or better to split the recordings between 2 tv tuners if I have extra tuner? Thanks a lot.

i have been trying to setup a PC with nextpvr
but when i scan i don't get any channels
my distributer is Yousee
and the DVB-C tuner is the MSI DigiVox Trio
i get the analog channels, just not the digital
anyone have any idea on what the problem could be

Today, after upgrading to a new NextPVR version, the EPG is not populating any information anymore.:confused:
Using XMLTV database.
I tried to update EPG, empty and update, but without any success.
Please advise.

I am trying to get this box working 100% and for that I need to know two things

1) How can I see what frequency a particular channel is tuned to?

2) What is an OID? Is it internal to NextPVR or generated from somewhere else. Can I make my own up or do they have to match?

So, I've had a DCR-2650 for a while now on my main computer for just recording, works pretty good, so I thought when building a HTPC I'd use another one. But with the always on state, I've had a lot of problems with it disconnecting, remote suddenly not working, basically many of the problems I've seen reported around the internet. I even sent it back to Hauppauge and got a replacement, but it exhibits the same behavior.

So I'm thinking of switching to the Silicondust HDHomeRun Prime, and I was wondering if it suffers from any of the same problems, or if it is more reliable than the Hauppauge. I'd need to get a receiver for my remote, I guess, but it would be worthwhile if I could rely more on the tuners working.

Any info or opinions would be appreciated. Thanks.

It happened to me twice: I left live TV on during the night, and in the morning I saw XBMC hangs and I have to kill it.
Attached are the logs (NPVR+XBMC). BTW the temp folder was empty.

After Restarting the Machine I can usually record 1 or 2 shows before it constantly starts failing every recording. This is really frustrating and I do know what the problem is.
