It was stop working after we have few new channels added and I have to rescan my tuner.
Every now and then, my recordings "freeze" up the show recorded. Itt just freezes on a frame and the computer is running full blast and then it just cuts out to the npvr menu. However, I can watch it on VLC without any problems.
A couple weeks ago, I ran it through videoredo and fixed the timeline so that I can watch it through npvr and that solved it. But it happens somewhat frequently. I don't want to use videoredo everytime and even if i were, it can take something like 10 minutes to process an hour show.
my primary tuner is hdhomerun. My secondary tuner is a hauppauge.
Okay so I'm using DVBT as well as DVBS and my DVBT tuner picks up two muxes with the same channels one that has a week signal.
I renamed and renumbered all the channels with the week signal and set up a group to show only the channels I wanted to see. Thing is though if I set up a recording on channel 1 I later find it has recorded on the 5001 channel (which I renumbered). It looks like this will force me to delete the offending channels but I thought I would ask here first if anyone knows of a reason why this would happen?
A few times now I have uninstalled and reinstalled the driver for my audio device. Every time I have done this the npvr client will no longer playback audio. It doesn't show up in the windows volume mixer as it normally would. Changing the audio renderer setting doesn't solve it. The only solution I've found is to delete the npvr.db3 file and start over. I believe last time this occurred there was no audio in recordings either.
As I noticed that NextPVR scheduled recordings do not support recording a programme for some days of the week together (eg: Monday, Wednesday, Saturday), I took a look at "recurring-backup.xml".
I found that the implementation of Record Weekdays is similar to that of Record Weekly, using a "Day" field.
Is it possible to edit this into something like:
<Days>MONDAY, WEDNESDAY, SATURDAY</Days>
and import into NextPVR? Will there be any problems?
I have a server with multiple DVB-T and DVB-S cards. I can watch and record as many SDTV programs as I like without any issues. I can also watch or record 2 HDTV programs without problem. However when I try to watch or record the third (even if the first 2 have finished) it appears that the server (I presume nrecord)crashes.
If the 3rd session is to watch live HDTV, nothing appears in the c:\temp folder. The previous 2 sessions created temp files and correctly deleted them when the playback was halted.
I have 2 tuners configured to handle HDTV, they are both PCTV USB cards, but one is a DVB-T2, the other is a DVB-S2. This problem has only occured since I upgraded to 2.6.2.
I do have an issue with client PC's freezing, which may or not be related to this, but I figure there is no point trying to resolve that until the server works properly.
The BBC HD channel cahnged to BBC 2 HD yesterday and now XMLTV isn't populating the EPG data. Do you have any idea why or any pointers of how to find out?
I retune wasn't required but I happened to need one anyway, not sure what else to check.
