I have a show that recorded as " - Frozen Planet the Epic Journey"
I got into SQLite Browser and the npvr.db3 and succesfuly found and modidied the names and paths to get rid of the " - " from the Recordings screen and the path so it still shows up in Recordings, but there is one more name that I just can't seem to find?
I have just updated the UK Freeview TV & Radio Logos that I use to the latest I could find - and as they are not too shabby - thought that I might as well share them.
They are in 16:9 format 256x144 for TV and 350x197 for Radio.
All the proper channels are included (no shopping or naughty channels )
Things have been working great with this plugin so far (although it never renames Letterman, for some reason), but tonight it didn't handle Vegas. Sometimes it's just a matter of waiting for an update, but I've tried to manually run it with no luck.
The log (attached) said the XML was up to date, but I noticed it was from 1/8/13, so I deleted the old one, and ran again. This time it downloaded again, and was able to rename properly.
Is it possible to setup NextPVR as a client to another machines install of NextPVR? If so, how?
I have XBMC installed ont he client right now and it used to work nicely with NextPVR for viewing but suddenly stopped. I reinstalled all but NextPVR and still no success. I know NPVR is working because on the backend I can open it and watch TV on it. My thinking is to remove all the other complexities, XBMC may be pretty but it is also pretty useless since it doesn't properly support lots of the functionality NPVR has, and go direct. Is this even possible?
I followed the short guide: install nextpvr, scanned channels, enabled web server, patched .dll file. And then installed plugin provided by xbmc frodo. Configured according to settings. I can watch tv on the frontend computer (livingroom), but when I try to watch on xbmc (i link the ip address), I just get a lost connection. I have rechecked and rechecked everything, and even port forwarded 8866. But nothing seems to work. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
I've been having a problem lately with my DCR-2650, where the tuner light stays on after a recording ends, and locks up the recording service if it is called for recording again. The recording does actually stop on time, but I see this error in the logs, which are attached.
Code:

Restarting the tuner does not fix it, I still get "unable to communicate with recording service", and have to reboot the pc.
So far my search has not been fruitful so I thought I would try a post. I have a few channels that display a frame or 2 and then freeze. Specifically this happens on both ESPN and ESPNHD so I suspected a CCI issue so I called my cable provider (TWC) and they assured me there shouldn't be any CCI flag issues. I don't have a lot of faith in their answer because they didn't seem to know what they are talking about, and I can tune both these channels in WMC.
Does X-NEWA support comskip, season recording setup or automatic update of the recordings list in xbmc? Does it work with an MCE remote for navigation and playback control? I understand that it is external to the 'LiveTV' module, but looks quite promising in its own right. Might have to install it tonight
I've had a few occasional problems recently with recordings on my HVR-1250 tuner, recording off the clear QAM channels on my cable system. Tonight is the first time it's happened that I noticed in time to capture the log files for it.
So, at 8pm it started recording Bones, but the file ends at around 8:20. It was supposed to continue to record The Following at 9pm on the same channel, but that file is 0 bytes. It then recorded Deception on a different channel properly at 10pm, and also the Late Show at 11:30pm.
