Just looked at The Main NextPVR pages and the wiki and then this forum...

IMHO it is so dry and dull. But I am fed up saying this. I may as well tickle a pterodactyl into life?

I have just installed NPVR on my dual boot PC ( XP and Win 7 ), first I installed in Windows 7, and my tuner card ( hauppauge PVR 150 )
was not detected, it is in the analogdevices.xml file but when I start NPVR and go to settings, devices it is not shown.
Next I installed on Win XP, and here is my tuner card detected, it is exatly the same analogdevices.xml file, and the same PC of course, any
idea of what is wrong.

I have an intermittent problem when I try to play recordings or watch live TV through nPVR. I get the following dialog box when this problem occurs. I have never found a way to fix it except rebooting. It always works if the computer is freshly rebooted...the problem only comes up after the computer has been doing other things. Anyone have suggestions as to what is causing the problem and how I might fix it? Logs are attached as is the full text from the dialog box "details" section.

Hi,

I've been playing around with a number of PVR software and thought I would try this again, given that the last time I tried it was when it was GB-PVR. My problem is that I KNOW my LoF's (10750, standard sky LNB) and I know the channels are there and the 2x dual TBS 6891s work fine (mediaportal and 4therecord) but everytime I try a full scan in Next, it doesn't pick up any channels at all. It scans through the transponders but doesn't detect anything... I've stopped MP TVserver so Next is the only thing running...

Is there something special I have to do that I can't work out!?

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Ive been trying to get NextPVR to recognize my usb tuner to no avail. It works fine with windows media player and the software it cam it with, Arcsoft TotalMedia. However, I would like to use NextPVR as there is a Roku channel for it, I want to be able to schedule and whatch recording from my roku.

I am running a Win. 7 pro desktop, 4gb ram, ATI Radeon 4350 video card.

In NextPVR, there are 4 devices listed,
ATSC atibda digital tuner
QAM atibda digital tuner
QAM aticqam digital tuner
DVB-T atitvbt digital tuner

Ive done a scan with each device, but nothing is found. Upon doing some searching, some people mentioned running filter check, which I have done, but I don't know what the results mean. I tried to attach, but the upload failed.

Does anyone know how to use a MCE remote button so I can change the aspect ratio without using the keyboard? IE can I alter the mce button mapping within nextpvr?

Can't get dvb radio to stream. Is this a known problem? Stream starts for 1/2 second then nothing unless i pause and play, which gives me another 1/2 second.

I am very new to this NPVR. I have been using it just to record HDTV for a couple of months, but I would like to use Comskip to rid myself of the commercials. I have a batch file created, but I am confused as to how I tell NPVR to use Comskip.
