Weird one this... if I watch the Tour de France coverage on ITV4, then the video freezes from time to time (the audio keeps running), but only ever during an ad break!
Logs attached -- freezes occurred at 14:12, 14:16, 14:33 and 15:40. In each case I pressed Escape to return to the TV Guide, and reselected Watch.
The logs are from the server, which runs XP and uses the ffdshow decoders (no client was running), but I have also seen the same (or at least similar) problem on a Windows 7 client machine using the Microsoft DTV-DVD decoders.
Well, looks like Viacom is playing games again with our programming prices...
So DirecTV yanked Comedy channel from DTV, along with a few other channels...i'm pissed!
EDIT: Spike and all MTV/VH1's and TVLand....Geez people..went thru this a couple of times with stupid Dish too..
I hope it all blows up in ALL their faces...greedy a-holes!
Another Vote for AlaCarte programming from me!
[picking n paying only the channels you want, not junk they FORCE you to buy!]
Whatever happened to free markets deciding what costs what?

For installation you need to install the latest version and also create a folder called Media\Artists in the NextPVR DataDirectory to store the fanart. As MusicBox4 plays it is configured to automatically fetch this fanart from a great community source called Home Theater Backdropshttp://www.htbackdrops.com/v2/index.php If you like fanart like this I urge you to join and promote the site, I believe these backdrops make a nice addition to MB4.
Since some of your music artists may not be tagged or be found on htdbackdrops rather a generic backdrop you can create your own personal backdrop collection and store them in the Skin folder in
There are also some small fixes in this version that I don't remember and albums are now sorted in Year order when the information is available.
Thanks once again to ACTCMS and Jaggy for their testing and comments that continue to enhance this plugin so much. If you have any support questions please post them the general plugin support forum.
Hi
Looking for some advice on updating my NPVR setup
Currently run 1 tv with a wired popcornhour a110, internal 1 tb disk, networked windows 7 pc. It works well for me but whenever I try to change someing in the past. like adding a plugin, I always end up with a load of heartache as dont really know what I am doing
NPVR is the standard setup skin and watch and record tv from the TV Guide and have a small library of recorded films in Videos. Anything i source elsewhere Ie DVD, I copy to hard disk on popcornhour because it will usually play with no issues.
The Big Question!
Does anyone have a good setup that works well for them using multiple popcornhours? that includes many of the updated features that are available from the plugins such as Movie and Music Jukeboxes, search plugins,Internet services such as Netflix, Upgraded Epg options/Automated Epg Options. Do these options need to be loaded individually or is their a installation package available or an idiot step by step that will allow me.
I am looking to update my setup so that I can watch 3 Tvs using same system.
First step is to purchase a couple of additional Popcornhours so that I have a popcornhour for each tv.
Is this the best extender or are their any benefits in going for one of the other supported extenders?
I would like to play direct from DVD on occasions but only have space for Dvd Player in one location.
Am I correct that I can purchase an external usb dvd, maybe Bluray(Any Suggestions on makes that work well), and connect to Popcornhour and see this device from any of the other two and play through the other two?
Is it best to use the popcornhour internal drive to store files or a networked drive. Can you play files from the popcornhour from NPVR Menu? Any good tips on Popcornhour intergration with NPVR
I have registered CLVsd.ax from PowerDVD 12 so that I can use it for Mpeg2 decoding in NPVR. It works, but when I go into the properties dialogue box to change it from software to DXVA, the setting wont stick and I can see it's doing it's decoding in software.
Can anyone offer a suggestion regarding how to fix this?
If I record 2 programs one after the other on the same channel there is picture breakup on the second program at the exact point where the first recording ends.
I think it also happens when recording two programs sequentially on different channels but it's hard to confirm.
I've started manually stopping the first recording if I can as soon as it finishes so that the breakup occurs during the adverts and not the start of the second program.
It doesn't happen everytime, but it's happened so many times now that it can't just be coincidence.
What could be causing this? I record to a WD Green drive which is defraged/nearly empty and the PC is otherwise idle. This didn't happen with GBPVR on the same hardware FWIW.
