I'm getting consistent unhandled exceptions when skipping on Recordings from my Clients. I do have Comskip files, but this aren't comskips. Just trying to do skips via remote.
Logs attached including reader.log since I still had that enabled from my other thread.
I'm sorry to post another problem with, I believe, is the new NPVRTSReader2.ax.
Previous to 2.4.3, live TV was smooth as glass on my NextPVR server. Now, on occasion, audio is clear buy video can be choppy. On very rare occasion, it will freeze-frame the picture and audio will continue right along.
LiveTV on my clients continues to be picture-perfect.
Will the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\NPVR\LogSlipFile=1 I recently used with client troubleshooting work for LiveTV, so when I see the choppy video, it might yield some clues along with the logs?
I've run though a few decoders to try and nail it down, but it seems to happen with any combination. I wanted to be sure to try this before posting here. If any HD-PVR user would like to post a combination that is working for them, I'm more than happy to give that a whirl too.
I've emptied the epg, deleted the xml source, recreated the xml source and copied it back to npvr.
The epg is still out by an hour?
Any suggestions as to what might be wrong?
Is there an option in NextPVR to just export recordings? Tried putting it into PostProcessing but it don't seem to work. Tried searching for an overview over NextPVR's commandline options but can't seem to find that either...
Sub, is the EPGEvent data available to a tuning plugin? Specifically I want to block access to the device based on time but if the tuner is available at the starting time, there might be an assumption that is available for the entire period.
I was hoping this new version would solve this problem but it still exist, when I watch recordings and they come to a point where there will be a skip with comskip the video will freeze and I have to stop then go back to ready recordings and resume to continue watching or it will stay froze indefinitely. I watched the F1 race I recorded earlier today and I had 2 of these freezes while watching. I'll attach logs to see if you can spot anything.
I was thinking it might be nice to have episode art like TV Listing (image #1), but it doesn't work at all in Recordings I added @previewImage to Recordings meta and was able to get art but it looks like it is just the Media\Show art (#2) So wish #1 is to to have @previewImage show the episode image if it is available.
However in the video library both icon and cover views look pretty drab, they really are designed for covers and not 16x9 style images. Wish #2 is to add episode views that aren't for covers.
Finally it looks like there is a bug in the Video Library, if the filename includes a semi-colon, filename.jpg is not loaded as meta art.
This is probably an arcsoft issue but I figure I may as well report it.
I finally got my IR issues sorted and both a Colossus and HVR-1800 working in the same machine with IRSS changing channels on the Colossus/STB.
If I change channels outside NPVR everything is fine. If I change channels with NPVR without a changer specified then I get a blip and the card keeps showing the same thing no problem.
Once I got USB-UIRT set up with IRSS and the command line set in NPVR while using the Arcsoft H264 decoder then NPVR freezes or, occasionally, BSOD.
Using the other decoders doesn't do this. All have audio and I think it was ffdshow that works perfectly. I'm happy with it working but in case it's something NPR is doing I'll attach the logs from it.
I just got this and installed the HDHomeRun SW, and then upgraded to NextPVR 2.4.3. In the Devices screen it lists

What is the diff between ATSC as Type and HDHR as Type? I enabled the ATSC ones and connected an antenna and it works, but I want to make sure I am using the correct device.
