My wife somehow managed to get two recordings playing at once (you could hear both audios) and end up back in the recordings list. I wasn't there when it happened and she's terrible at explaining this kind of thing. I think it happened something like this:
She used the MCE play button (not the OK button) to play a sage import which ended up black screen with a length of 00:00:00 (see sage import utility thread for description). She pressed stop and tried again with the same screen/length but then she heard two audio tracks at once. She pressed stop and got the recordings screen again.
When I came in I heard the two streams at once. I hit OK to play the same episode and it finally showed video but now with three audio tracks. I hit stop and it went back to two audio tracks at the recordings screen. I had to exit NPVR to get it to stop.
My wife is used to SageTV and NPVR is a bit slower to actually show video so I suspect she hit the play button a couple of times before the first video attempted to play.
Wish I could provide more info. When I get home I can try and post the log if I can figure out which one it is.
My wife is having a heck of a time trying to use NPVR. She gets confused about how to find the recordings she wants to watch. I set the view to Ready Recordings then sort by date descending so she has the series by folder and in the folder the newest recordings are on top. When she goes back to the recordings screen it's showing "What's New" and when she finaly gets to ready recordings (which is rare) she can't find the newest recordings because the sort changed back.
I have to admit that even though I have no problems getting to the view/sort I want it is a bit annoying to always have to change settings to get the view I want.

I've moved this to another thread because I like to separate problems into more relevant threads that hopefully will help other users find a solution more quickly. I had a check and right-clicking the white space does indeed generate a trace error which I will fix in a future version of MB4, however that is not how Collections work. Basically you need to hit the + sign to open up the system collection of the Collections group and then you can use the buttons on the bottom or right click on the Text to Add a Path or Collections.
If you don't have "system" or Collection showing that might indicate another problem if so compress and upload your logs and I will have a look.
I kind of stumbled onto this while I was tring to get NextPVR working on my WHS2011. I own a few NMT PCH machines (A-200 and C-200) and was interested what it could do beyond me creating .ts files for me to view later.
I haven't gotten it working fully yet, I get to the killall:gaya line on a grey screen and looking for answers here I read an old post that A-200 models were not supported. Before I spend any more time head scratching, I just wanted to confirm that what I have will not work as of today.
Here is my setup;
WHS 2011 with NextPVR 2.3.6 installed (Recordings are working and the .ts files are being recorded in my 'Recorded TV' folder which is shared)
MPVMC installed using the default options (c: drive, etc.)
NMT PCH A-200 mapped to the installation folder of MPVMC etc. I get to the killall line as mentioned above but no further.
Hopefully that is enough information to confirm whether I should carry on or abandon trying to get this to work with my hardware.
A couple of years ago someone sugested including slideshow effects as seen in XBMC etc with zoom and fade. Is this available now? I am new to Nvpr so am still finding my way around and could not see it anywhere.

My cable provider is converting it's "good" analogue stations to digital so it can gouge a pile of money out of it's customers. No benefit to us (unless you count the extra 20 crap stations I didn't want).
Now, of course, my dual tuner card will be near useless. The cable box only puts out one channel and the 2250 only has one cable input - so one tuner gets disabled and the other now needs a blaster cable (which I have to find).
I'm wondering if there's anyone out there that's already done a multi-card cable box set-up? What cards did you use? how did you get two (or more) cards in one PC and more than one blaster cable going?
