Anyone that can give me tips on what to search for ?

Here is a small command line utility that create an external Timing.Info file for use with old ts files or ts files that have been cut or edited. It is based on timing information in the file itself (PCR) and it does adjust for some PCR timeline errors.
Normally you don't need to use any options, but if you want here they are:

Usage: writeTime.exe [-f] [-s #] [-o] [-d filename] filename.ts
-a analyze ts file
-f fast skipping, default read every packet
-s # number of packets to skip default if skipping is enable is 20
-o overwrite timing.info default is to exist if an external file is found.
-d debug filename default is NUL use CON if you want to redirect to a file, otherwise it is a filename.
-c copy ADS Timing.Info if found
If you don't like command prompt, you can use Windows Explorer and drop the file onto the writeTime icon
My TV guide never has any info, probably because of the region I live in (Gibraltar). I would like to be able to schedule a recording by simply choosing a channel, a date/time to start and a date/time to stop recording.
I used to do it like that in GB-PVR many moons ago, but now I cant find out how to do it in NPVR. The only way to schedule a recording seemed to be to choose a single programme in the TV Guide.
Any help would be appreciated!
And while I'm at it, thanks for such a good piece of free software. The stuff that comes with TV cards is always unstable and horrendous. I'm not sure why TV card manufacturers undermine their own products by failing on the software all the time. And unfortunately Windows Media Center also fails with many cards.
doesn't seem to be a bad card since it works ok with the bundled software (arcsoft total media). although that program is pretty crappy. couldn't get windows media center to find it either. logs attached.

Dear all, I was let down by the combination of IE8 and vbulletin software where I thanked everybody and was going to share my new NextPVR set-up. By the time I went to post it all got lost.
Instead of getting annoyed I decided to share a picture of my daughter:
I would like to share my DVB-T and DVB-S set up at another time, when I do not get timed out
Since installing 2.3.6, two programs are not recording 2 days of the week (from 7 PM to 8 PM) that used to record with version 2.2.6. Also, almost every night (on a different computer) from 2:00 AM to approximately 4:00 AM, one of my scheduled recordings stops recording. It is programmed to record from 12:58 AM to 4:02 AM, daily.
I've attached the most recent logs. The program that stops each night is WLS 0058-0402. This did not occur with version 2.2.6.
Here I am again, I can change names and ips as fast as lightening.
STILL, even though it doesnt seem the author is interested, because im an evil troll and retard or whatever, my particular version (old) version 2.26 still works perfectly 100 % of the time. Applying the updates made it fail 100% of the time. Just sayin'... Now that ive gone back to the old version its working perfectly, always. It has been working perfectly for the past week. No need to uninstall/reinstall, hang around applying new patches. Nor to chat about it. Guess what...
The issues happened when I saw that I should update. So I updated. Once I did that the servive was failing 99% of the time.
So NPVR failed after that and I complained and was banned??

So far ive tested 3 other pvr software products and they are much worse than NPVR is.
It would be nice if yall would be less like women on their periods and improve the product rather than deleting posts and banning.
AT least this old version works, flawlessly on my 'defective POS computer'. As said by another person in this forum.
