I made the switch from GBPVR to NPVR a few months ago and haven't had any major problems, a simple restart of the recording service on the server got it back up and running in the past. But suddently all scheduled recordings and live-TV files are showing with zero file sizes, I can't see anything that has changed to cause this.
Does anyone know how to fix this? Any help is greatly appreciated!
I've been meaning to report this for age. When the HVR-4000 is recording and you try and use the tuner for something else, the recording breaks (stops at the moment you try to access the tuner). You correctly get told that there device is busy but the recording stops. This is in npvr 2.0.3. I dont think it used to happen in GBPVR but it's been so long since I ran that and I also had a second working card at that point, that I cant prove it but have the hunch it used not to break. Anyone else with one of these cards see this issue? It's easy for me to reproduce, with just this card, get it to record something and try and watch TV while it's recording. Happens if you record on the DVB-S and try to access a DVB-T or a DVB-S channel. Not tried recording DVB-T then trying to watch something else...
I have a BlackGold BGT3620 installed with latest drivers on XP Pro SP3 and have tried Scanning with specific UK xmitter (Hannington) and All but each time it sits not finding (and I suspect not scanning) anything. Clicking Ok or cancel generates UAE. If it makes any difference this is a development PC with MSDEV 6 on it. No crash dump generated
Hopefully I've attached the log (new to this forum system)
I really miss the Text-tv function since I scrapped the last genuine tv-set and went for just monitor. Is it a terrible lot of work to inplement digital text-tv? (I'm not mentioning the teletext subtitles this time )
I scanned my ATSC channels (free OTA channels) and it found some. I then told config to update the EPG, and then tried watching a show. I select a channel, but there is never audio or video. What am I doing wrong?
