I have W7 Professional and NPVR 2.0.3 installed.
I want to view the free HD channels in Sweden.
The DVB-T2 device is recognised as QAM (DVB-C?). The DVB-T device in 290e works perfectly OK.
Installing the TV Center supplied with the USB stick showed that the DVB-T2 receiver works fine watching HD channels.
I attach logfile and config file
NPVR is a new venture for me and have much to learn.
The first issue I would like to know more of is how to properly set up my tuner card.
I beleive I have followed the guide provided on the website correctly, yet my card does not show.
It is an Angel TVTuner made by Lumanate
system is windows 7 x64
My Finder log and AnalogDevice files (both txt) are attachted.
The last entry in the AnalogDevice file is what I have added (how i understood to add it through the examples and pictures.
I thought I would share this useful util. In order to get completely smooth playback, I need TV to output at 1080i @ 25hz. However, I need Blu Ray play 1080p @ 24hz to avoid any panning judder. However, with ATI drivers, this can't really be automated.
One question. Does anyone have a magic script that can be used to close PowerDVD 7.3 with an MCE remote?? That's the last the last bit I haven't got worked out!
So I'm thinking about pushing myself further to the dark side and buying another apple product. Not a huge fan or anything, but over here it is the only legal way of getting tv shows and movies (ok there are two other methods, but one requires a zune, and one requires the Tivo they brought out here - both are pretty limited for content).
So the apple TV will get stuff from itunes, and with a bit of fudging you can put XBMC on it.
What would be required to get our audio stream working on the apple TV - whil eI don't expect to be able to do it, ultimately I'd like to have one device in the lounge for playing stuff, it may or may not be an apple tv, or popcorn hour - but obviously if I can get access to gbpvr content, and legal itunes content on one device I'd be happier.
Is there an easy way to clear the "Ready Recordings" Data list that appears in the Recordings Menu List? I can't figure out an easy way and I've given up on going in and individually deleting files so they just keep piling up.
I was thinking of replacing one of my mvp's with something a bit newer. Which model NMT or something would be the best replacement? I don't do high def yet but would like the option. I spend most of the time watching videos in the room so support for decoding different media types natively would be good. Which NMT is the most supported with npvr?
Hello
I recently discovered NPVR and attempted to run set up on Win XP. Each time I run the set up, the program crashes at two separate places. One is when it tries to install the "update exe" file and one other time which is unclear. I also tried running setup in safe mode with the same results. The Win XP Operating system has not been updated in a while and I am running the old ATI suite of PVR programs including Guide Plus. The Guide Plus program stopped updating TV listings as I believe they finally shut it down...it's very old which is why I came over to NPVR. The set up worked fine on a WIN 7 machine. Any suggestions?
