I installed nextpvr on my PC because I want to share my videos and to watch live tv on my pch on my lan.
To install it I used The Dummy guide and the instructions in http://www.nextpvr.com/nwiki/pmwiki.php?n=Client.NMT, but non funzione.
I checked the system using NMT Syntax Check and this is the log:

I used the PortQryUI to check the port 8866 and it says "not listening", very strange because i opend this port on my windows firewall and on my router.
On my tv I see the npvr interface with the menu but when I try to stream my video or live tv it doesn' t work.
Please help me

I've been going round in circles a bit this afternoon setting up another test machine.

If I change the EPG source to "none" in the bulk map area of setup, it changes to DVB/ATSC EPG when I exit.
(I wondered why there was a lot of scanning when I did an update epg!)
However, I found that changing it by double clicking or "details" the change to "none" stuck.

This weekend I'll be setting up a test machine to start the transition from GBPVR and NPVR. As part of this I would like to be able to test on my PCH, but I don't have a second TV/PCH to use as a test rig.

So, is the easiest way of setting up one PCH but multiple servers still the method posted here:

How are people getting their show art? Is there some TV show image tool available or is it a Google search job?

i can't get latest to playback any sd mppg files...can't figure out why...they all play fine in pvrx2, only other thing in common is all mp2, but hd w/mp2 audio plays fine..?

same results 2 machines..
any way to change default demux for non-internal[.ts] types?

xp sp3,tried all renderers and decoders..same results on all.everything else works fine tho the interface is slow..[menus] menu performance seems quite heavy...

update: seems they play fine from recordings screen after import, but not in video library...oops, nope, that was an .avi... mpg still no go anywhere..

even on the .avi it thinks the aspect ratio is 3:2? when it's a plain old 720x480 4:3 file...
crazy display rectangle it's trying to setup..
attaching logs to show aspect when playing avi and nothing happens at all when playing nba basketball .mpg file..if i leave it long enough it shows the osdtimeline graphic error in logs..[last thing in log]

I've been experiencing slow responses from my HDHomerun and often GBPVR crashes when I am switching channels. Any advice would be GREATLY appreciated!!! Logs attached. Sticking with GBPVR 1.4.7 because NPVR seems to not like my HDHomerun, either...

Hi I try to use NVPR on a Windows 2008 R2 Server (64bit)
The installation went well and I have applayed all pathes.
The TvTuner card is a TechnoTrend Budget 1501 DVB-C card
I have installed drivers for it (BDA drivers) but I cannot find them under Settings-devices.
What should I do to fix this, or is the TvTuner not supported???

As I am in the process of switching to NPVR from GBPVR, I am having a problem with the old XMLTV Extras (version 1.5). On a side note, I really like the new version with the linking of TV series to The TV DB.

When I run the old one, I get the following error: "Error reading C:\Program Files\EPG\MA-QAM.xml: There is an error in XML document (2, 11)." I've tried different XML files, different PCs. I'm getting my XML from MC2XML. I tried both Microsoft & Microsoft Legacy settings. It just seems like all of sudden I can't get it to work. Any ideas or suggestions for what I could submit to help diagnose it?

Sometimes when I watch 1080p dxva videos on my xp gbpvr box it crashes gbpvr. Then when I try to load any video (even from other players) it hangs the whole htpc.

systems notes:
cccp codec pack using ffdshow dxva, haali splitter, ffdshow audio decoder

I think it crashes when I try to switch either subtitles or audio streams. It's pretty consistent. If I don't switch streams/subtitles then I think it's stable.

I don't know if it's gbpvr, ffdshow, haali splitter or something else.

Any help would be appreciated.
