How can I get the same result with NextPVR docker Arm64 Version: 6.1.1.221106 ?
Hi, I couldn't figure out how to make the service that runs on port 8866 ~not~ automatically start up. I would like to start this explicitly only when I want to use it. I now have to manually exit the tray app every time I start this computer.
It has been working great, only glitch is occasional stuck recording because the file name is not what is passed to the script.
So I am finally considering upgrade.
I would like to retain my scheduled recordings and channel settings.
Can I export/import or backup these things?
I understand there is a cleanup needed since this old version does not use the same install method as the latest, what is needed?
I have been using libreelec on a rpi2 but recently upgraded libreelec to matrix and the GUI is very sluggish (normal to be sluggish or bad config?). Libreelec nexus is just released which I assume would be even more sluggish on a rpi2. Libreelec recommends rpi4 but rpi4 is quite expensive for what it is.
What's a recommended device for a kodi frontend to nextpvr? The TV is a dumb 1080p but if it breaks, any replacement would surely be 4K so a 4K capable device is more future proof.
The rpi2 is always on so can access nextpvr immediately (no bootup time) which is nice. It also has low power/electricity costs.
Would a Fire TV Stick 4K Max be the best upgrade to run kodi nexus? I would use wired ethernet so the more expensive Fire TV Cube has an ethernet port without buying extra adapters.
Sorry lost my original post. I wanted to know the last time how I can edit the channel list without having to start from scratch. If I remember correctly I didn't give you enough information last time. This is where I would like to edit the list.
For example, with a recently aired episode of The Good Doctor:
E:/NextPVR/RecordedTV/KTRK-HD/The Good Doctor/Season 06/The.Good.Doctor.S06E16.The.Good.Lawyer.ts
This would be the bare minimum that I'd like see implemented.
A better options would be a versatile system allowing users to specify a custom path format with keywords.
Something like this could be entered into the Recording Directory setting and NextPVR would be able to parse it, and it would result in the above example:
E:/NextPVR/RecordedTV/%CHANNEL%/%SHOW%/%SEASON%/
This could allow for different orders, as well as divisions by other properties, such as year and month the recording was made, like this:
And this would be a result of NextPVR parsing that with the above example:
E:/NextPVR/RecordedTV-2023-03/The Good Doctor/KTRK-HD/Season 06/The.Good.Doctor.S06E16.The.Good.Lawyer.ts
Again, this would be the better option, but I'll settle for just a check-mark that divides everything into Channel super-folders alongside the existing option that divides them into Season subfolders.
