I'm testing my DVB-T dual-tuner with the MDPlugins...
I have my tuner's setup to run one instance (of the MDPlugin I assume) but I still see that the following:
- I'm recording an encrypted channel on one transponder, and the recording is starting...
- I'm schedule another recording on a channel that sits on the same transponder
What I'm getting is an exception in NPVR and the following behaviour:
Atteched are my log-files as well...
I'm also getting some strange behaviour when I do schedule the other recording (on another transponder) on the second tuner.. I haven't been able to reproduce it cleanly though...
Another follow up to earlier problem. Thanks to subs patch nrecord.exe no longer crashes on recording.
I've let things run for a few days now and am seeing a recurring issue with recording being listed with the above error even though they seem to have recorded OK. These shows are also still listed in the pending list so it looks like npvr has got stuck even though recordings are being made in the background.
Examples from today are Smallville, Warehouse 13, and the simpsons, but programs either side of these, Family Guy, and Doctor Who recorded and were listed correctly in whats new.
Analogue OK (after a bit of messing to get channel selected).
DVB-S scans and works fine.
DVB-T did work with the original download, but now it hangs at the beginning of scanning. (I still have various patches from the dvb-s thread).
It just sits with the first mux frequency on screen and doesn't move on. hitting cancel pops up an exception box.
Just checked with gbpvr and scanning working (to make sure device+driver still running).
p.s. exception is one where task manager is needed to kill npvr off otherwise sits in loop - cancel, exception, cancel etc).
I don't need to use the program for much and don't want to go through tons of complicated stuff.. I need to record a few matches from Super Street Fighter IV and put them on youtube, and I found this application, since the standard software from Hauppauge requires a CD to install now, and I've lost that..
So I know it is abrupt but could someone talk me through setting up the WinTV-PVR-USB2 from Hauppauge so it runs with GBPVR, specifically so it can record from my Playstation 3? I don't need to watch TV on it, JUST record a few matches so I can post them.
Is there a setting like in GBPVR where you can set the skip timeframe, i do not use the default of 1 min forward and 30 sec back and was hoping i could adjust this like in GBPVR, but see, to not see this option
