I've just installed DVB-T radio on Windows 7 64 bit. I had it running successfully on an older system, but can't seem to get it to work now. I have registered the lame directshow filter, successfully scanned and can see all the stations that I would expect, but when I attempt to play them there is no sound.
I'm running GB-PVR on a WinXP - x64 OS. And using a HVR-1700.
The channels are entered based on frequencies.
Besides not being able to switch channels (see other post with this title), there are also some other, minor issues.
Somehow, the web interface does not store changes made via the config tab.
Everything goes back to defaults.
Moreover, this Ajax web interface shows the time in AM/PM format. And not 24 hrs format like the PVRX2 client.
Updating the web interface to its latest version doesn't help. Moreover, in this case, another problem shows up.
Every time the configurator is started, the message 'Please wait while windows configures...' pops up.
I made sure I followed the installation manual to the letter by removing the drivers and GB-PVR. And re-installed everything from scratch.
I also noticed that the x64 version of ffdshow is not recognized by GB-PVR.
Anyone having the same kind of glitches? And was able to solve it?
We got digital DMB-TH at last (well in my area), so apologies for all different threads but I thought they were all new subjects .. :-)
Anyway, for some reason the channels thrown up are just plain e.g. "Pearl" and "Pearl AC3". As noted in my comment in a thread from Feb 2008:

In October 2007, both broadcasting companies had agreed in November 2007 to utilize MPEG2 video format for simulcasting channels (TVB Jade, ATV Home, TVB Pearl and ATV World), and the H.264 format will be implemented for all digital broadcasting only channels [4]. For the audio codec, usual DTMB set-top boxes will support MPEG-1 Audio Layer II (MP2) for stereo audio tracks, and Dolby AC-3 for surround sound audio tracks.
Q1. So I guess the plain ones are MP2 and the other ones Surround Sound AC3?
The funny thing is the AC3 Filter Icon come up when I play back, even though I did not choose the AC3 Channel? Taking e.g. the Channel that has Pearl and Pearl (AC3) the attached is stream details from the TS file using just plain Pearl.
Q2. I guess this could be because "A/52 (A52) is essentially the same thing as AC-3 (AC3)". SO why would one be non-AC3 but has essentially AC3 audio and one is stated as AC3? Odd.

Q3. NICAM. When I play the recorded TS file via GBPVR I get Chinese but when I play the recorded TS file in WMP I get an English Track (I can select the Chinese one in WMP which is track 2). So how do I get the English one in GBPVR? I tried Ctrl-G as per the WIKI but no joy? How do you toggle the audio Track?
Hi, sub, been using GBPVR all this time now, but on Analog. Now got into Digital, so am bringing a few new problems to the table, hope you can help! (btw see the udpated ini for HK for your next release).
I have a long running problem with the GBPVRrecording Service which works fine ona acomputer reboot, but after a while, (at elast one PC sleep/wake session) when I go to change a setting in config the Config locks up. When I go to close the service down, the service says "Stopping" but does not stop and the only solution is a reboot. Not even a log-off of user helps.

How can I help troubleshoot this? or is it one of those items that can have so many causes, as it is on a PC which is not exclusively an HTPC? e.g. Antivurus software (AVG Free) or UltraVNC drivers or something?
Old to GBPVR, but really new to digital TV so bear with me ...
Can anyone shed some light on why when I'm playing back a still recording TS file, do I get 3 AC3Filter instances? During recording there are none. Only one of them has the Audio L an R channel bars going up and down indicating audio??
Much thanks to mvallevand and everyone else who has contributed to getting GBPVR to work on the NMT. You too sub! I got my eGreat M34A on Monday, and today I finished the final tweaks to have it automatically boot into GBPVR. Awesome stuff!
I?ve the MS redistribuable and Dot.Net installed, the installation starts and then this error message (acnnot create key, error 1401) and the installations stops. I have Windows 7 installed. Tried to search in the forum but didn't find...
Thanks
for new impending release of GB-PVR just because I knew something would change. Well change is immanent methinks so in meantime before latest v. of GB-PVR blasts our way wiki main has changed:
