  Bugs?
Posted by: zaldwaik - 2009-12-31, 11:40 PM - Forum: MVPMCX2 and other NMT stuff - Replies (11)

Two things will lock my PCH and require a hard reset. First, during live tv when a recording starts, no warning is given and the screen goes blank, nothing can be done other than a hard reset.

Second scenario involves trying the skip several times, same outcome.

Finally, OSD keeps blinking when turned on (info) during live tv.

Volume not sticking is also very annoying especially when watching livetv.

So far kids and wife not very happy.

  Cannot get GB-PVR to load
Posted by: forzaKGB - 2009-12-31, 05:55 PM - Forum: MVPMCX2 and other NMT stuff - Replies (2)

Hi

I just did something stupid, tried to update my GB-PVR server prior to the evening.
And of course it did not work. The steps I performed:

1) Uninstalled/installed Weather 2
2) installed a MS Update on c++
3) Ran NMTInstall just in case some patches has been released.

And now the NMT loads the share, starts telnetd and the GBPVR GUI appears for a few moments (under one second) and the NMT then reverts to the Media menue.

The output from NMT-Checker:

NMT IP Address: 192.168.1.154 MAC 0006DC44250D

GB-PVR Installed C:\Program\Devnz\GBPVR\
config.xml entry found Client Type PCH2

Checking NMT Version
01-17-091022-15-POP-403-000

Checking NMT Display
1080p 50Hz

My capture hardware is not in the list, anything I can do?
Posted by: KillerApp - 2009-12-31, 04:28 PM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (5)

I got sick of Microsoft's Media Center and thought I would give this a go Smile However, my card (USB stick) a videoMate U2500F is not on the hardware dropdown when I try to add hardware. Is there anything I can do?

  Newbie need help
Posted by: ltd - 2009-12-31, 03:07 PM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (4)

I am new to this forum, first time downloaded GB-PVR eitther newest version or older version, I got same results as followings :
- All channels scanned fine.
but when I play them I had :
- No audio.
- In Live TV mode, just 1 TV station displayed, if I move to next channel display black out with Strenght and Quality at O value, I moved back to first station , no picture and same strenght and Quality at 0.
I used a Usb ATI wonder HD650 tuner. It worked with included software but to much bugs.

  PBS No Software Remote Install
Posted by: mbox - 2009-12-31, 02:57 PM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (1)

Hey PBS,

I currently have this remote:
http://img.tomshardware.com/us/2006/07/1...remote.jpg

I'm wondering if the Green button can be used to start PVRX2. I'd like to keep the functionality of the power buttion to put the machine in/out of sleep mode.

Also, there are a few buttons such as:
Music, Radio etc

Can those be set to work, because they don't with your file.

Let me know.

Thanks,

Rocky

  Regaining focus
Posted by: McBainUK - 2009-12-31, 01:48 PM - Forum: Developers - Replies (2)

Hi all, I wonder if I can pick your brains...

My plugin launches external programs which take the focus away from GB-PVR. What's a good way of regaining/restoring the focus to the GB-PVR window using C#?

  switching between tuners?
Posted by: Spark - 2009-12-31, 06:22 AM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (14)

This is driving me mad, spent a few hours reading the wiki, and the keyboard shortcuts, and I can't seem to locate just how do I switch between analog & digital tuner?

The way I do it now, I use the config utility, then only have either the analog or the digital capture source. If I have them both, and if the digital one is listed first, it still goes to the analog tuner.

If I remove the analog, then I can get the digital one OK.

I just can't have them both listed as sources, and switch between them.

This is on a HD ATI 650 PRO card.
The exact model is http://ati.amd.com/products/tvwonder650/pci/index.html

What am I missing?

  Recording 0KB files
Posted by: CullenDavis - 2009-12-31, 05:16 AM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (11)

Hi everyone. First let me say I'm new to the GBPVR world and have been reading these forums for a couple days on getting things setup. So far I've gotten most things resolved, however there are a few outstanding items I cannot seem to get.

My setup is Win7 x64 and GBPVR v1.4.7. For testing only I'm using an ATI 600 PCIe with a basic cable input. This will change to digital HD once I prove it out.

I'm able to view the channel guide and watch tv just fine, however my issues come into play when I try to record or pause. The directory and file is created, however it is always a 0KB file.

Hopefully there's something simple that I'm missing.
I've attached my log files.

Thanks in advance
