not able to map channels with config - tried removing capture course and re-creating with no luck, not sure if this is due to channels moving frequencies as the analogue signal is being phased out here...

Just installed GB-PVR 1.4.7
After install of Monogram codec all running well except 1 channel NZ âPrimeâ
Live TV on all channels is great
When playing back âPrimeâ after few minutes it jumps forward sometime minutes & or picture locks but sound keeps going?
This is only an issue with this one channel
Back spacing will take me back to where the jump occurred and then it works fine for a while before jumping forward again so recording is clearly there
Itâs just a playback issue i think

I recently discovered a few very useful dynamic undervolting apps, I didn't really know that you could do this outside of the Bios.
I got my BE2300 running at 0.75 volts @ 1000Mhz during SD live TV, 0.9 v @ 1600 for HD and 1.05v @ 1900 for anything above HD cpu usage.
I don't know how much it's taken my power consumption down but it runs a few degrees cooler. The only thing I found is that 1/2 step multiplyers are to be avoided for stability.
Anyway thought it might be of interest to others, the app I had most sucess with was crystalcpuid, though I tried rmclock but gave up due to stability issues but that was before I knew about the half step multipliers, the only other one I looked at was k10stat...but it only supports k10 amd architecture.

Locally there is available a "PixelView PlayTV 550 Hybrid (15mm)"
which I am not aware is able to be used with GB-PVR.
The reason for analog is to receive Trackside which is the Sky Uhf Discovery channel and I am unaware of any plans for Trackside to go on Freeview.
Any advice appreciated.

Is resuming playback suppose to be global to the server and clients. For example can I watch a video from one computer, stop playback and then resume playback from another computer?
I do not have the option to resume playback from any computer unless a playback position is saved from the server.

On the client in PVRX2.exe.log all the lines that have getLastPlaybackPosition:

So it seems getting the last playback position will fail unless it was saved from the server using the D:\ path.
One workaround that would probably work is to have the Server Recordings Directory match exactly to the Client Recording Share.
This problem also occurs with the Video Library so all my paths would also need to match across all computers.

I rarely record analog but I've noticed that the final quality is not as good as it should be and checked the file properties and see the bit rate is only 6000 even though I chose High Quality and it's set to 9000 (I have the medium set to 6000).
Is it possible that the quality is set by my cable company? It's set as constant. Should this be set to variable? Been so long since I've fooled with this I don't even remember.
Nevermind. I answered my own question. Variable does indeed make the difference. I'm now able to see it record to 9000 bit rate.

I'm having problem with DVB-S EPG for SBS is not updating when run with the automatic update or from the NMT System Menu, but it updates fine if run from the System Menu on the serve.

I have been having a problem changing resolutions with this video adapter. I had posted this elsewhere as I believe it might be obliquely related to PVRx2 loading, as described below.
Recently, I upgraded my HD Rearpro TV to an LCD flat panel (a Hisense, if it matters). After the usual struggle to soothe the drivers, I managed to get this going in a variety of progressive resolutions, though the latest version of Catalyst Control Centre will not even acknowledge the possibility of interlaced resolutions other than 1080i.
Often, the output to my monitor will vanish entirely. There are times when putting the device into SLEEP and bringing it out again restores the video, and times when it does not. This seems to be related to changing resolutions, particularly changing from 1080i to any hidef progressive resolution (720p and 1080p).
Occasionally, the resolution changes correctly, but when it does it sometimes "blue screens" me as a result. I'm fairly sure this has only happened when changing to 1080p.
I would like to think that I could change resolutions more freely, but in the short term, I am trying to "lock" the system in 1080i to prevent this problem. This works to an extent. I load Catalyst Control Centre and apply the 1080i profile. For days, the system loads and remains in 1080i, with only two problems:
1) When I perform a scheduled restart, the BIOS loader displays in 800x600. This means there is a resolution change after Windows loads, which sometimes blanks the screen, though SLEEP can usually recover it. If there's a solution to this, I would appreciate it.
2) Here is where PVRx2 comes in: After a few days, something causes the system to enter 1080p resolution, without my permission, whenever I load PVRx2. This blanks the screen permanently; any number of SLEEPs or restarts do not help. The only solution at this point is to enter safe mode, do a system restore to a week earlier, and restart again.
Sorry to go on so long. Obviously, there are a lot of interrelated problems, here, but I would appreciate any ideas for solving any of them.
I have one problem getting in the way with fully using GB-PVR. It now successfully records TV from my noname USB satellite receiver, I get audio when I watch TV live, but as soon as I record, or use the live TV pause facility, I get no audio.
When I open the recorded files in GOM player, it plays back with sound no problem, so the audio codecs are installed.
