I scan my channel of my DVB-S Card in germany and have a result of more than 1200 found channel. First it would be nice, if they are sorted by name to find the favorites faster. Second, it would be nice to select filters like remove encrypted or special languages or only audio channel (FM radio). Absolutly perfect would be a drag and drop sorting in the favorite channel list to easier make the numbering.

For configuring the channels, it is great, if you have a "Sumbit" button to write the changes.

This is only a comfort feature, which i like much in my current reciver. When switching the channel your gbpvr shows the epg of the current program. My receiver shows the current program with begin and end time and the next comming program with this time info. That's very nice.

I'm a programmer by myself since 20 years and i know the time effort for write code but you enter a section for writing wishes and so i think you pick up the effective wishes...if you have time... and make this gbpvr more perfect. But consider: Let it small and with good performance. This is what i like.
I can't get mp4 with 264 video to play no matter which decoder I choose. I get audio just no video. The files playback fine with either windows media player or videolan.
It would be nice so the Digital Channel Mapping Dialog Box could be used when Desktop-> Properties-> Display Settings-> Advanced could use 120DPI as well as 96DPI.

I found a small bug within the picture viewer. If you insert a CD with more than 999 pictures...i do this... then the counter in the upper left border brakes the line.
If someone accidentally work on this module, it seams to be a short job to fix this.
When I record from the TV-Guide the mpg file for the recording is stored in the Recordings directory. When I record from LiveTV the mpg file for the recording is stored in the LiveTV Buffer directory. I though it would be moved the Recordings directory once the recording was complete. I do not have use the Live Preview mode. I want to use a SSD for the LiveTV Buffer to see it that speeds up the channel changing, but I will not have room on the SSD for all of the recorded LiveTV shows. How do I get the LiveTV recordings to automatically move to the Recordings directory?
I just downloaded and installed GB on my computer, which is hooked up via S-video to my TV. IN the menu, when I click on LiveTV it flashes to blank screen for a second then returns to the menu. Same happens when I try to watch TV via the Guide. I tried the FFDShow codecs and InterVideo codecs, to no avail.
Any ideas?
I have a GeniaTech ASTC tuner card, cable (analog-ish).
I am using the PVR 150 card with an s-video out to a widescreen TV.
The GB PVR menus are okay and the correct size, almost everything I record is correct as well, but most AVI's whether downloaded from the Internet or any AVI's I make myself, are usually playing as a square in the middle of the screen with at least 30% of the screen on each side is blank strips.
Running the a brand new installed of Windows XP and the latest version of GB PVR. The older system I had worked just fine.
Anyone have any ideas?
Also, can I change any settings in the .xml file that will affect the size of video playing and not the menus as they are sized correctly?
I have been using GBPVR for around three years. For the last year or so without any major problems (it is a great product). Completely out of the blue (I don't remember loading any new software or changing any configs), last week live tv has stopped working and pvrx2 has been maxing out the CPU usage. I can still watch movies and existing recordings, but it will no longer record anything or let me watch tv.
At first I thought it might be a problem with the tuner card (nova T 90xx) which was really old. So I used the problem as an excuse to buy a new dual tuner card (nova T 500). I then completely uninstalled GBPVR and did a fresh install with the latest version. Although the new Nova T card appears to work absolutely fine running the hauppauge winTV software, I am experiencing exactly the same problem with live TV as before. I've tried various other things, but I am now completely and utterly stuck. Help!
The symptoms are:
- on boot up I run 2 mvp clients. whey they load they immediately go to 70% CPU usage and stay there (I have an intel quad processor). If I use config to tell them not to run, then pvrx2 doesn't hog bandwidth, but still no live TV;
- pvrx2 won't run live TV or make any recordings.
The following line appears in the log when I try to go to live TV:

I have my new refurb A-100 working like a charm as a replacement for the MVP, but two things affect the WAF, and I need to confirm, at this point in time:
1) Running from a share, can the NMT wake the PC from standby? (like MVPMC did so well with WOL) I've tried the ether-wake here without success. Tell me it is possible and I will keep trying.
2) Can the NMT start up directly into GBPVR? Finding it in media sources seems to be confusing for the WAF, particularly if the PC is sleeping. Can't seem to find a clear answer on this.
