Getting problems scanning for channels due to the digital switchover here (Wales - Kilvey transmitter), scan using kilvey does not get all channels but if i scan using all counties/regions i do get them.
So i assume that the ini file for kilvey has incorrect channel details.
Appreciate any info on sorting this.

I re-scanned today to fix one channel that had changed (KDOCDT), and found after the rescan 5 other channels were broken. KCOPDT, KNBCDT KABCDT, KCETDT2 and KLCSDT2 all had lost audio or video, even though I didn't change those mappings. I presume this is the new functionality mentioned in the release notes to automatically 'fix' channels whose program stream id's had changed.... in my case it only broke them!
I was able to manually fix the tuning requests (with some knowledge and a little help from TSReader Lite), as follows:

Yes, it did the same across both of my tuners (per my sig), so it's not a tuner or driver issue.
So, something is broken in the ATSC scanning logic in this release (I've scanned numerous times in every release from 1.2.13 on, and never had it get any of the PID's wrong before). Second, perhaps automatically updating the existing tuning requests should be optional rather than automatic. I shudder to imagine if it had borked all of my tuning requests, I'd have been hand-entering tuning requests all day long.
As an aside, I also initially tried doing a manual scan on just the one frequency I wanted to update, but found the scanner would just find the same channel over and over and over again until I stopped it. I tried it on a couple of different frequencies, and it would do the same thing. So I did a full rescan.
I'm afraid I don't have the config and config-native logs from the original channel scan any longer - I've been in and out of config so many times fixing the channels that those logs are long gone. I can re-scan again some other time and get logs if it would help.
In the middle of setting up a Win7 test box and having trouble getting GB-PVR to play nicely with my PCI NOVA-T DVB card. I think the drivers are ok as I was able to scan for channels and grab the OTA EPG successfully.
GB-PVR is able to play back old .ts recordings. But live TV just results in a blank screen and any recordings are zer byte. Logs attached showing me attempting both of these things.

I upgraded to 1.4.7 last weekend and have a few mvpmc issues since (i think-more later). At first live tv seems ok but I notice the odd glitch or momentary black screen after which the lip syc gets a bit out...after about 10 minutes it eventually black screens with a re-boot being required to get back to gbpvr.
In days gone past I would have put this down to poor signal, but this was using DVB-S which I've never really had issues with. Also on DV-T channel changes without going back to gbpvr menu sometimes cause the same symptoms.
The ony but...in all this is that I changed my network router at around the same time....so it could be related..but if anything it should be beter than before but you never know with these things. Logs attached the black scren happend somewhere around 17:50 (maybee 1 minute before to 5 minutes after that exact point)
I tried the latest nightly build...the same. I cant try the haupp dongle cos I'm streamin TS.
i've been working lately to configure my home PC as a DVR with the HDTV set on the secondary display over HDMI (and still using the PC while the DVR is working). and i've found another issue for which there appears to be no answer on the forums.
my problem is that with intervideo the timeshift live TV in 720p is letterboxed (black bars on top/bottom) on fill and auto aspect. when i force it to "remove letter box" to make 720p look fine all the other channels are also displayed with a zoom and it's bad.
i'm using InterVideo Video Filter 7.0.27.191 from Cole2k Media - Codec Pack V7.8.0 Advanced.
the other channels 1080i and 480i look fine in auto/fill modes.
other codecs like ATI, Dscaler, Cyberlink that i tried have other issues (like high CPU usage or missing letters in the closed caption). i've applied the DX9b fix for quartz.dll and the VMR9 rendering is now way way better but this aspect ratio is killing me.
is there a way to set the aspect ratio per channel or somehow force 720p to fill the screen? this issue happens in both the window mode and full screen (on a 720p HDTV).
I have one server PC one Client PC and one Popcorn Hour. After upgrading I am not able to record properly. The file gets created but the file size is 0 bytes. I am not sure what the problem is. Also I noticed that I can watch live TV from my server but not from the client or the PCH. I can watch show previously recorded on all three. I am not sure what is going on. I also noticed that on the server some of the channels do not have sound. I tried to remap the channels multiple times but there was no change. From the mapping page in the configuration the sound is fine on all channels. I am not sure what is up.
Lately I'v had problems tuning into History Channel HD, gbpvr says that no signal is found. Sub, can you check if the correct tuning request is submitted?
