Getting no picture. Had a quick go with Windows Media Player 9 and I get a picture, but if did have to download a codec.

Anything I can provide to figure out what the stream is and if I have a decoder to play it?

I have recently installed GB-PVR version 1.3.11 on vista. It seems to recognise DVB-S from my capture card hauppauge WinTV HVR-4000 but when I try to scan for channels it never finds any, although it does show one or two channels in the small window to the right.

I have downloaded and installed the latest drivers from hauppauge and the card works fine with DVBViewer.

Any assistance would be very much appreciated.

Last night all recordings were 0 byte files sizes. Coronation Street (7:30-8:30), Criminal Minds (8:30-9:30), Ghost Whipserer (8:30-9:30). First time this has happened in a while. Logs attached, but all I can see is 'unexpected error...' at 19:27. Any ideas? Ta.

On my GBPVR server as well as my clients, search stopped working.
logs attached.
I turned up logging to debug, loaded PVRX2, went into TV Guide (OK), exited went to Recordings (OK) , exited and went to Search. The screen flashes and stays on the main menu. Keyboard locked. Need to end PVRX2 task.
I also deleted the EPG and reloaded. Problem still there.

any help appreciated.

Make the recorded file look like it would in GBPVR if played in another media player.

I recently have been having problems with the MVP connecting to the server. I am using the mvpmc dongle (since it supports WOL). It seems like the first time after the recording service is restarted, it connects fine.

Other times if I hit the emulate button, it doesn't connect the first time, but returns to the mvpmc screen. If I hit emulate again, it connects fine.

I've had a previous problem using the default dongle as well. It would not find the server and then it would just be stuck. If I just restart the recording service on the computer, then all would be fine.

I've attached the what I think are the relevant logs.

I've just discovered an interesting problem. There are some FLV files (not all) for which my HTPC will not reproduce sound. This is almost definitely a codec issue, as my laptop plays the same FLVs just fine. The problem is that I have been through ffdshow settings with a fine-toothed comb, and set everything identically on both computers; still, one plays these files perfectly, and the other silently. This is true of both the PVRx2 player and Media Player Classic.

The offending files appear to have certain MP3 tracks, particularly Nellymoser. I've set ffdshow to play Nellymoser using libavdec in both cases.

Can anyone help?

if I am deleting recordings and I delete all the episodes of a particular series the highlight bar goes all the way to the top listing instead of the one before or after the one just deleted. It would be better in my opinion if it stayed where you were when deleting.
