I seem to be getting poor quality when viewing Live TV. I'm running a cox to a Haup PVR150 and then DVI to HDMI to my 50" LCD. If I view an avi,divx,h264,etc video it comes out great but in Live TV it's grainy and the picture seems to be shrunk a bit. I was watching the NBA game last night and the pic was shrunk and bars were placed on the sides. Not the case when I watched it with the stb hooked up directly to the TV.

Hello, I am moving to a different cable provider. I know i will need to edit my schedule direct account information for the tv listings. My problem is how do i keep all my scheduled recordings intact? Will i need to print out my recordings list and manually reset the recordings or is there a way to do this automatically?

Is it possible to run gbpvr through an xbox 360, like you can manage the microsoft media center? I have searched for a definitive answer but can't find one. I'm guessing the answer is probably no...

I've just noticed that the guide doesn't display all the data of my xmltv file.

Today, my xmltv file contains data up to june 20, but when I update the GBPVR guide with it, the guide only display infos up to june 18.

Did I make a mistake somewhere or is there a limit in guide updating process ?

Installs ok, config is ok. I am on silverlight and it is selected in the plugin settings. I have checked WMP is set to download usage rights. I can stream a movie in IE. I don't know what else to do?

When in GB-PVR (pvrx2) and I click on the watch now plugin, I get a .Net error and that it can't find the watchnow.serializer or something. I have zipped and attached my logs.

I am pretty good with GB-PVR... but I need help on this one.

I use a 5 button wireless mouse exclusively to control my HTPC running GB-PVR, instead of a remote control. The rig works great. A problem that I've recently come across however is that I can't seem to navigate the DVD menus with the mouse. It requires me to use a keyboard. Is there any way to allow the mouse to navigate the DVD menus?

Any help would be much appreciated.

I am having a terrible problem on ONE remote computer getting videos to play through the web interface and Videolan VLC. On my other remove computers, it works fine. The web interface comes up, I select the video to play, it loads an M3U file [with "open with"]. If I just hit "enter," it loads VLC but I get an error message saying "Unable to Open. http:\SERVER/gbpvr/public/download.aspi? rid=_wECuhE"& path--wFI&mode=1" or something like that - hard to transcribe.

I get the same error if I try to open the M3U file directly with VLC.EXE.

I've been playing with this for several hours (trying to change the Tools/Options/Applications/M3U settings in firefox, and trying to change or delete the Folder Options/File Type/M3U in windows, but I can't seem to get it to work. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling VLC a couple of times. I'm pulling what little hair I have left out. I'd be grateful for some help.

I should say if I run the MPG file directly in VLC, it plays fine. So I'm pretty sure it has something to do with the M3U file getting interpreted properly.

When GBPVR calls PostProcessing.bat are any parameters passed in such as channel information or anything else?

Is it possible to do selective processing based on the channel the recording was from?

Is there a list somewhere of the available text elements? Maybe elements isn't the word I want... like this (from the tv guide skin):

when GBPVR captures teletext subtitles to the .srt file, it seems to have an encoding problem: eg german umlauts are encoded wrong:
