I am from czech republic, gb-pvr work good but my first problem is about czech characters in EPG and program names.... Where to change the code page for EPG or any other idea how to solve this problem?
I don't find any thread about my problem in this forum....
2nd problem is why not see picture in gb-pvr when HDTV channels are setup...(I only hear sound track from channel, but no picture)
It's DVB-T HD programs in MPEG-4 (of course, my USB dongle are HD ready and HD programs work good on my ArcSoft software)....
Any1 help me? My email is avro@post.cz
CZ version: Ahoj,
...mam problem s programem gb-pvr. Vse jak se zda celkem slape (krom HD programu na mem DVB-T USB donglu). U HD programu (jak se zda v experimentalnim MPEG-4 formatu) slysim jen zvukovou stopu, obrazovka cerna....
Vic me ale trapi necitelne EPG u vsech programu... Vypada ze to chce nekde nastavit kodovou stranku nebo tak neco...nevite nekdo co s tim?
Muj mail na mne je avro@post.cz
Thanks to all reply, Diky za jakoukoliv odpoved...
At least for me at 50 Mhz when the scrolling satellite ad details are on screen, at 50 Mhz it is smooth scrolling, at 60 Mhz, you can see it stop and stutter along.
Hey, I have everything set up and it works great. There is the one thing that I would like to fix. I have the TV Server and I am running it through my wifi to my laptop. It works fine but being that it is always using the wifi, when I roll over the screen by accident the OSD of PVRX2 slows down my entire computer to the point where the program is non responsive. I was wondering if there is a way to strip this feature off of the PVRX2 program. Thanks.
I am one of the few who still has the original PCH/GBPVR setups with HDMI. I saw that HDMI is now supported for the new look/feel so I went ahead and tried to update my setup. When I go to MVPSpecificSettings in config.xml, I don't see the MAC address for my PCH. Do I need to manually add it? What do I need to add?
I've tryed to use this latest version, but using PCH2 mode gives me problems.
I'm playing around with (mostly SD) DVB-T broadcast (video H264 + mpeg2 audio).
1. Live TV refuses to start, there is basically black screen, a couple of seconds of audio and then no response.
2. When playing recordings they play fine until the recording ends - then the box hangs. Same happens when I press stop.
In hangs I can see that sometimes the mvpmcx2 process disappers alltogether (but gaya doesn't reappear). When starting gaya manually I can proceed.
PCH mode seems to work OK.
My setup is with HDMI, but has a couple of more pieces equipment (videoprocessor+HDMI switch) between a pch and TV. I hope thats not the source of the problem.
My MediaMVP (model 86002 Rev D3A) has just stopped working and need to replace it. Should I go for a newer version, a NMT (whatever that is ) or something else? Pls, any advice - pros/cons appreciated!
I have searched around but have not found an answer... have looked through all the settings and can't find it - is there a way to set pvrx2 to stay on top of other windows? I like to have it open in a small window in the corner while I do other things.
* I have a Sony KD-28DX40 windscreen TV
* It's resolution is standard UK pal, which I think is 720x576, which is not widescreen?
* The PC is connected to the TV using s-video and a ATI HD4350
* My source is UK Freeview DVB-T which is 720x576.
So as far as I can see it's a widescreen TV tube with a 4x3 resultion..?
Questions
* What TV shape do I set in GB-PVR?
* What desktop resolution should I use?
