I use window 10.
I have a new Lenovo 64bit, Intel I5 Desktop with 500gb. I got Realtek DTV usb tuners. But it seem that nextPVR unable to scan them.I have installed the latest nestPVR which I assume is 64bit v.5.2.7(220410).

For experiment reason, I installed another TV recorder called TotalMedia. This TotalMedia can see the Tuners and scan them. So why when I scan with nextPVR it does not see any channels?

Maybe I meant to install other things in addition to NPVRSetup.exe program. In the past I've used cody.
I assume that the new installation do it all in one package.

I'm using NextPVR in Windows and I've been watching via Kodi. Once a day (usually around midnight), the channel being broadcast freezes and after maybe 20 seconds, closes. If I try to view a channel again, it only plays for a few seconds and freezes. The only way I've found to get the channels to start being received properly is to restart the NPVR service. I've attached the logs.

Hello. I have been in separate discussions about recurring re-recordings, and I think it is because the UniqueID element is missing from the Event column of SCHEDULED_RECORDINGS.

I can see from the XML generated at the time of recording (and in the scheduled recording, before the recording starts) that the UniqueID element is populated. What I now want to do is use NextTool to update the Database with the UniqueID from the XML.

I have tried --importXML, which works great if the recording is not there (which then includes UniqueID), however, if the recording exists, then the metadata is not updated. I have also tried the --file, and this provides the same result, as the recording exists.

What I really need is a way to use NextTool to perform this command on the Database, by providing the recording name (example '/recordings/tv/path-to-series/episode-name.mkv') and the uniqueid (example 'EP013032340098')

This is the command I used in sqlite to achieve my goal:

UPDATE SCHEDULED_RECORDING SET event_details = REPLACE(event_details, '</Event>', '  <UniqueID>EP013032340098</UniqueID>
</Event>') WHERE event_details NOT LIKE 'UniqueID' AND filename LIKE '/recordings/tv/path-to-series/episode-name.mkv';

Something like this would be useful to me.

I am trying to run NextPVR as an addon to home assistant, which means that home assistant essentially manages the docker environment, ensuring that the folders and ports are mapped etc. but otherwise it is a docker container. My NPVR docker image has two mount points, one /config that is mapped to a local folder on my ha server and /share which is where the buffer is held. /share is actually mapped to a cifs mounted folder on the ha instance.

Anyway enough background, when I try to play a channel in NPVR I get the following in the log

Hi all,

I'm having a strange issue with NextPVR and my IPTV service connections. When I run the API to check current conns, it's always maxed out when NextPVR is recording - this keeps me from watching on my tv's because its banging the server and keeps booting me. What's interesting is for my IPTV setup in settings---devices, I have set the Max-connections setting to "2". Hopefully someone can help me fix this issue. 

Running HLS on a Windows machine.

Important to add - the recording has now completed as of 11:30 pm CST but the active conns are showing as "2", which happens to be my max-connection setting. Not running on any other devices or tvs. Strange.

How do I tell Nextpvr which of the files to use when scanning for channels?

I'm hoping this is the right section. I'm trying to install the addon skin NextBlue Setup_v2_05 to NextPVR 5.2.7 (220410) on a Windows x64 system. The setup.exe fails with Error DataDirectory

NPVR is installed at:
DataDirectory Registry Error
Completed

I've tried extracting the contents of the setup.exe file and copying the NextBlue skin folder into the Program Files\ NextPVR\data\skin however this locks up NextPVR, probably due to the missing unregistered dll files in the $PLUGINSDIR (inside the NextBlue setup.exe). Can this skin still be used? And if so how do I correctly install it? All of the NextBlue forums seem to either be nonexistent anymore, or have posts from 2015. I would appreciate any help at all with this.
