I am having trouble getting the config to recognize my video in for my avermedia nanoexpress card. I know I have the driver and everything because Sage TV recognizes it. Is there something I am missing?
This is probably something stupid I'm overlooking, but I don't want the Search Guide function to display info from Channels that I don't have.
I've just added a PVR150MCE to my HTPC so I can watch Prime and added an XML file to download the EPG for this and Juice.
My TV Guide only shows the channels I have enabled, but the Search Guide option displays all the shows for the Sky channels. I don't have Sky so don't want to see these.
Does anyone know how to do this?
I've got a Nova-T 500 on order, but whilst I'm waiting for it, I'm still trying to get my Nebula USB DVB tuner working nicely.
I'm basically randomly trying MUXs.
I've tested a number of MUXs, watching live TV via an MVP, and watching recordings back on my laptop having copied the .mpg to it to ensure no network issues are causing the glitches.
Here's where I've got to:

Is there anyone out there with a Nebula who gets spot on results? which MUX do you use?
Am I going to have problems trying to use the same MUX for the Nebula AND the Nova-T 500?
Just noticed the KMPlayer has this handy feature where it automatically plays a second part2 video file. For example, I was watching a movie which was in 2 avi files (parts 1 and 2) and when part1 was finished the video player automatically loaded/played the part2 avi file - very smart!
I did a quick search but did not find any info on the topic so I am adding it here as a GBPVR wishlist item.
Am I wasting my time looking for a good, fanless graphics card that has TV out (s-video) for my current CRT SD TV, and a HDMI for future connection to an LCD HD TV?
Not sure if this is possible to do from within PVRX2.exe, but I use Eventghost to help change the Channels etc on my PC upstairs.
I have recently discovered having Eventghost running somehow doesn't let the MVP downstairs change channels, so what I'd like to do is start GBPVR using a Batch file, which first runs Eventghost, then starts PVRX2.exe but then to also close Eventghost on PVRX.exe exit?
Could one of the programmy games suggest a good way to do this?

I have an MVP that I no longer use...I've gone all digital...so I'm offering it for sale. Includes MVP (wired), remote, power supply, and some cables if you need them. I was thinking $35 shipped USPS priority mail to U.S. address only. PM me if interested.
All of a sudden I am recieving all sorts of freezes in GB.
When ever I open GBPVR and mouse over LiveTV the error below occurs and it will lock up GB and I will need to kill each process.
I was testing a recording and it does seem to record but the wrong chanel (prob my problem in setup)
I have tried giving it direct access with no restrictions from the firewall etc but problem still exists (i am unsure if gb directly records the logs, i do see a log file but it has alot of logs and they seem to be related to working of the program so I wont touch them)
*Debug error below, its odd as it only appears when I mouse over LiveTv - The guide seems fine and it will record albeit the wrong channel
UPDATE: I changed all settings back to system default and reset most of my card connections and it seems to be up and working now, I will keep testing to ensure it was not a one off success.

I haven't seen other reports of this on the forums, but I set up a GBPVR PC Client a few months back and all was well at first, until the Guide and Recordings started taking an excruciatingly long time to load. At this point it takes about 2 minutes after pressing TV Guide, Search Guide or Recordings before the menu finally comes up. (This happens on the client, not the server). I'm using GBPVR v1.3.7.
For a while I assumed it's the time it takes to transfer a larger database over the network, but I tried copying the database file over the network and it takes less than 15 seconds. I experimented with Streaming/Windows Share methods for the client, and it made no difference in the time required to load the menus.
I've tried temporarily replacing the gbpvr.db3 file with empty.db3, thereby clearing the database. The menus load instantaneously again. Putting my database back again, the menus take 2 minutes once more.
I'm using a 54G wireless network, and I recognize it's not supported, but streaming video works flawlessly (the client is directly above the Access Point, one floor up) and as I said, the database file can be transferred in 10 seconds, so it seems that network speed is not the bottle neck. It's just these menus which take forever to load, the ones which require the database. I'm preparing to wire my house with Cat5E, so it will be networked at 100Mbps (or even gigabit if I splurge on the hardware), but that doesn't even seem to be the problem.
At this point I'm stumped as to what is holding up these menus.
