I have been running a PostProcessing.bat for the last couple of weeks to simply rename .ts recording to .mpg for some testing I have been doing reported in mvpmc thread. All seemed to be working fine but I noticed today some & I mean some recording aren't showing in the recording screen, but the majority are showing fine, the batch file has run perfectly every time & the files are renamed .mpg so am very confused why some would show & others not, I have no idea where to look for the solution to this??

Has anyone had any luck getting the digital side of a gigabyte GT-PTV-TAF-RH to work?
I have tried several drivers (Tiger 2, Hybrid) and have had varying results. On one set of drivers it will scan fine but all channels show between -5 and +15 signal strength (all 100 Quality) but will not 'find' the channel. The other driver will find channels but list them all as the same channel!
I have looked at Graphedit to check filters - all OK.
3 other tuners detect and tune channels.
Only happens with the latest scan & multi-record patches from the support thread installed. Tried multiple decoder and BDA mux combinations with the same result - crash to desktop and the tray reporting Freeview card's status is "Live TV"
No logs I'm afraid as I've done a clean install to try and fix the problem (works fine on a basic v1.3.11 although misses out some channels on the scan). I did notice a strange message in one of the logs: "Received event code: 35861".
If you want to investigate I could probably get some logs together
I have an ATI Dual channel card, cable analog and ota digital hd inputs. I can pause the cable input and resume fine, when I pause the ota hd signal, the screen goes dark and keyboard is not functioning. I have to close GB-PVR. Is there a setting I have wrong, does hd signal use a different temp folder?
Running the latest version of GB software.
I'm in the process of doing a fresh install and noticed that the config app selected "TS Mux" by default for the BDA Multiplexer. Is there a benefit in using this other an MPG based mux or is it just the lucky default?
System:
* DVB-T "Freeview" via a pair of Hauppauge Nova-T PCIs.
* Occasional MVP use (recordings mainly, rarely live TV).
* Low end CPU/graphics card (see sig).
This is an old DVB-T card which is incorrectly auto-dectected as a DVB-S with the current BDA.INI.
The configuration below works correctly with the DVB-T card:
[TechniSat SkyStar2 DVB-T PCI (BDA)]
TUNING_TYPE=DVB-T
FILTER_TUNER=TechniSat BDA Digital Tuner
FILTER_CAPTURE=TechniSat BDA Digital Capture
PIN_TUNER_IN=Input0
PIN_TUNER_OUT=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_IN=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_OUT=MPEG2 Transport
Please can you add this configuration to the BDA.INI file.
Recorded a program have set it to convert to a xvid format, however the conversion never took place but it did create a 0 byte .avi file. The ts file is fine.
Is there any way to force it into .avi or do i need a third party program?
I just installed GBPVR 1.3.11 with my Hauppauge 2250 card. Analog channels are fine, both video and audio. Clear QAM channels look great too, but there is no sound! I've tried changing the MPEG-2 Playback Audio Decoder setting from System Default to "MPEG Audio Decoder" to "Intervideo NonCSS", but none of those fixed it.
I had SageTV demo version installed before GBPVR, and I was getting audio out of the Clear QAM channels with that software.
I cant get anything from my Hauppauge pvr 150 MCE tv card to go with the gbpvr install. In setup I selected the Hauppauge tuner in the config part, under capture sources-add-analog recording plugin-settings. It listed my Hauppauge as devices detected, so it knows its there.
But after then going back to the gbpvr and to live tv, it doesnt select.
I can move around the menu but nothing in live tv.
I have migrated to a new development machine but in the process, sections of my backup seems to have been corrupted. The corruption included parts of the Netflix plugin. Unfortunately, some of the corrupted sections are used by both the plugin and the process for updating the list. I am working feverishly to recode it but it's taking a little bit of time which is in short supply at the moment.
