Any idea why this is happening? Never had a problem installing/upgrading GBPVR before.

I have cleaned up the wiki section on skins to match the format with the Plugins. This will help keep the listing updated when new skins are added automatically and removed when marked unsupported.

I just purchased an MVP and I'm trying to find a better GUI/server software to use. GBPVR looks good, but I can't seem to get it to work. I have updated C files and followed other instructions for installation.

For a setup I have a Windows PC running XP service Pack 3, a dlink router and a wired MVP. The MVP will boot up with the GBPVR GUI and I can view our photos which are in .jpg format. If I attempt to play MP3s the GUI shows the song and acts as if it is playing but their is no sound. If I try to play a 720x480 MPEG-2 with MP3 audio in it... The screen goes blank and the MVP stops responding to inputs. I have to cycle power to get it to work again. My TV is a standard definition TV and I have set the GBPVR to use system defaults for playback. It is also set to start one MVP Server with Standard Definition. I can lanch PVRX2 on the PC and it will play both music and mpeg2 video locally.

I am using GBPVR version 1.3.11.

I have attached two logs. There is a third that is larger than the size limit.... I can email it needed. The file name is MVP-PVRX2.exe-1.log

Can anyone tell me how to get this working? Do I need a different version of GBPVR? A Codec?

I am having issues playing media on an MVP. Anything that needs transcoding just restarts the MVP
In the MVP-PVRX2.exe-1.log, I see

Media stream thread caught exception: System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Could not find file 'D:\MVP000F220006D42.mpg'.

above that, I see

Starting transcode with: C:\Program Files\Devnz\GBPVR\Third Party\FFmpeg\ffmpeg.exe -y -i "G:\Movies and Shows\..."

are there supposed to be quotes around the "c:\program files\...".
If I add the quotes, I can run FFMPG.exe manually just fine.

i just upgraded to newest release firmware[08.10.23] and looks like things have changed a bit..

dl'd newest mvpmcx2 and files an dthey work fine starting from browse, but is there any way to automate getting there?
trying to get http://localhost.drives:8883/[SMB] syntax for my share to load script.cgi from there...can this be done still?

So, I was having a bunch of problems getting things to work straight with my hardware under windows xp, but I did have GB-PVR setup the way I liked and it worked well.

I just upgraded to Vista and all of my hardware problems have gone away. GB-PVR is working great, except that the asterisks that indicate a new airing for a show have completely disappeared.

I am using I-xmltv and schedules direct. It is configured the same way as before and seems to be working correctly (my guide does populate with the correct shows).

any ideas?

I recently created a new account in my Windows XP and migrated all data from my other profile over to the new one. That was over 2 weeks ago. Last night was the first night I wanted to record something under the new profile and lo and behold GBPVR wouldn't work. Some error about the shortcut not working. I had to reinstall for some stupid reason. Anyway, upon reinstall I had to redo all my settings even though they were stored in the Program Files folder.
I finally get a recording scheduled after having to restart to force the program to stop complaining about a phantom recording conflict and it started recording. I get home today and there is nothing but audio in the recording. I upgrade to newest version and now I don't have either audio or video. LiveTV option shows nothing but static now even though last night I had at least audio. I'm using S-Video input and I've tried every source input listed in the GUI and nothing gives me a picture. What is going on? Am I missing something? I have a Happauge PVR150. I don't know what could have changed.

Can anyone tell me with the below hardware configuration and the current interface configuration. Should I be able to use the multi-record function with GBPVR 1.3.11?

I've attempted to use the feature, but when I try to schedule recordings that are on different channels that run at the same times, the systems tells me I need to cancel one of them.

Current Audio Video configuration:

1. Charter digital subscription > Two-way spitter > Output 1 of splitter > Digital Cable Box > LG HDTV Cable interface.

2. Output 2 of splitter > Cable interface of Hauppauge WinTV-HVR-1600 of the IBM computer > DVI to HDMI cable from Visiontek Radeon 2400 Pro > HDMI interface of LG HDTV.

3. In the GBPVR Misc2 Tab configuration screen, the below is seleted.
A. TS Mux.
B. Enable Multi-Record support.

4. In the GBPVR "Capture Sources" Tab screen, the below is selected.
A. Analog Recording Plugin.
A1. Capture Card Type: Hauppauge HVR-1600 (Analog).
B1. Source: Internal Tuner.
C1. Tuning: Cable.

I get the error message in the acamd log

PMT not found
CAT not found

Need I update the file acamd_pmt?
