I'm not sure when the EWA stopped working, I've done some upgrades to GBPVR and my hardware for DTV.
Now when I load the webpage from my laptop, I get a generic Runtime Error.
When I load the webpage from the tv computer via VNC, I get.....

fatal error CS0007: Unexpected common language runtime initialization error -- 'Class not registered '
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Version Information: Microsoft .NET Framework Version:2.0.50727.42; ASP.NET Version:2.0.50727.42
So, I reinstalled 79 and followed the instructions for clearing out the bin
folder, and it did not fix the problem.
Maybe the message is pointing to something else not registered?
I've had GBPVR for ages and love it though I only use it lightly. Currently running 1.3.7 with a wired Hauppauge MVP at the other end. Host PC is well-specced and for the following tests I have checked I've newly rebooted and have plenty (well, enough) of temp disk.
All seems fine for playing MP3 and TV rips but playing film-length AVIs seems to invariably bomb around 20mins into the film. The generation of the mpg is happening with ffmpeg AFAICS and the conversion process seems toi complete because if I look in my temp folder afterwards the entire movie is there (with aspect ratio converted).
The error I get in the log is:

Also does it have to do the conversion? teh aspect ration of the asource AVI is as we want it and even though the gbpvr config says 16:9 widescreen the movie seems to get resized to 4:3 (or whatever the old standard is)
I have a good picture for all channels but no sound.
I've tried setting audio decoder in config to: AC3Filter, MPEG, Cyberlink, Intervideo NonCSS & ffdshow.
Using Nova T 500 card (dvb-t) for Freeview NZ.
gbpvr v1.3.11
ffdshow tryouts r2577 (Dec 17 2008). It has AAC in the list of codecs. What else do I need to do?
Just updated to 1.3.11 and have lost channel changes for scheduled recordings.
Using HIP and MCE Remote and all works fine except with scheduled recordings the channel will not change. The channels change while watching Live TV and HIPsend sends the SKY remote commands OK.....so that is not broken.
Have re-installed the capture device and been through all the setup again after I tried everything else....and nothing!! No channel changes for recordings.
It seems GBPVR is not sending the channels to the ".exe Channel Changer" (HIPsend.exe) anymore. Help please!
I thought I'd post my logs and see if you can see what I am doing wrong here.
In the attached logs I've watched TV3 / H264 live, and the sound works fine (as I guessed, as I doesn't use the TS reader)
I then watched a TS file from the satellite, and the sound worked fine on live, and recorded.
Then I watched an AAC channel live, and AC3 filter worked fine, but no sound when I tried to watch the same program recording.
EDIT: I removed Ac3filter completely, and used FFDshow for AC3 and audio decoder, and it did the same thing.
As a side note, I seem to be having an issue when I watch live TV.
When I watch any channel live using the TS mux (SD or HD) then the next file I attempt to play gives the last frame of the live TV I was watching, and then a black screen with 00:00 at each end of the timeline.
I can reproduce this each time. (trying to play a file after the 'failed' attempt works fine - even the same file)
Since upgrading to 1.3.1.1 the Screensaver plugin doesn't seem to work. My MVP reboots everytime the screensaver attempts to turn on. Has anyone else had this problem?
