today i tried to populate my guide and I was left with an empty guide
So I went here found no complaints and went the mc2xml site and downloaded the latest... still same problem so I deleted my tuner to start fresh and gbpvr will not load the xml saying it is malformed.

Would it be possible to set the "Up one level" entry in the numbering of the Music and Video Libraries to be position "0" so that the music tracks line up right.
At the moment, if the first track is "01 Something.mp3" it will be position 2 in the list.
Net radio is not working for me. It says it can't connect or something like that. It works fine on my gbpvr install on my laptop but not on my home pvr. They are on the same network. As far as I can tell it is not my firewall. Can you take a look at my logs at your convenience to see if there are any clues to my troubles?
What would be the easiest way to restart recording a TV show series? Would it be as simple as deleting what has already been recorded? Would GBPVR see those recordings as missing and re-record them or would it know it recorded them already even though the shows have been deleted?
UPDATE: I've just noticed an entry under Start->All Programs->Channel Logo Tool - there's an item "Microsoft Primary Operability Assemblies 2005". I clicked on that and it appeared to install additional files. Now, when I run the Channel Logo Tool, it no longer crashes. Am I being daft? I didn't see any reference to this in the tool's installation documentation. Anyway, maybe this post will help others . Thanks for the handy utility!

I've installed this tool without any difficulty, but when I run it, it crashes at a point with an unhandled exception indicating that it can't load file "Microsoft.mshtml". This occurs after it has opened a window and allowed me to drill down through selecting station icons. When I click on "next", the crash occurs. This is the point in the instructions as follows: "Select an icon of a channel you’re familiar with. CLT will load and display a series of icons including the one you’ve selected. These will be in alphabetical order. When this page has loaded, click “Next”. ".

I am running on a stable HTPC running Windows XP SP3 as the only user with full admin rights. .Net 1.1 and 2.0 SP1 are installed (if that matters). GB-PVR (latest version) runs well.
I currently have two Hauppauge PVR-150 tuners, and they both are giving me quality problems. I want to use the Hauppauge Tweak Tool to see if the problems can be corrected, but I do not know how to identify each tuner in the application. Does anyone have any experience with using this application with multiple identical tuners?
I recently had to rebuild my GBPvr server and ever since have not been able to change channels properly from the client PC. If I start watching a channel from the TV Guide, then escape back to the TV Guide menu, then select another channel, everything works properly (this is currently my workaround). However, if I change channels while I am already in LiveTV mode, either by entering a channel directly or by Channel UP/Down, I get the following errors. I should note that the server is configured for TS Mux and file sharing.
1) Occasionally, after a couple channel changes I will get sound with a black screen
2) After the second channel change, if I press F1 for the guide, it appears to be somewhat garbled, and the background is transparent, even though I am running in Overlay mode (the OSD has the normal black background when first entering LiveTV mode).
3) If I press escape from LiveTV, instead of returning the display to the menu, I get an still image of the show that was on the previous channel (before the channel change). GBPvr appears to be locked up at this point, at least it will not respond to any keystrokes such as escape.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Edit: Still cannot figure out why channel changes are broke, but I reinstalled the old image of my server, resolved the original issue I was having with it, and not channel changes are back to normal.
