Hello Sub and others!

First of all, Sub, great thanks that you have had time to develop a new version and with Multi-record support!

But right after upgrade I ran into major issue. I had 1.2.13 running on "server" and "clients". Server has HVR-1300 and server-client setup worked as a charm. On clients I disabled "use built in transport stream reader filter for .ts files". Disabling this, playback brought up Haali Media Splitter and this called AC3Filter for audio and CoreAVC decoder for video. PVRX2 internal ".ts" reader filter didn't allow to SKIP/FFWD during playback (or did it very strange and slow). So, using external .ts splitter worked perfect.

After upgrading 1.2.13 -> 1.3.7 on server and clients, no I am unable to playback any recordings, new ones nor old ones did with 1.2.13. PVRX2 opens file, plays back it about with speed of 1fps and no audio and time on status bar rolls on astronomically (played 1sek of recording equals about 30min in PVRX2 "time"). On system tray there is only AC3Filter icon, but its status shows that no input for filter is provided. Also no Haali icon... Ticking "use internal .ts filter" and unticking it produces exactly the same described situation! :-(

So, Sub, is usage of external .ts filter/splitter is now broken or what? Or does installation have written over some registry settings, so reinstalling Haali and CoreAVC could resolve my issues?

I rip a DVD with DVDFab, about half the time lately I get subtitles always on. In GBPVR (PVRX2) They are not shown as on, and I can turn additional subtitles on (so there are two sets displayed).

I suspect that it is something in DVDFab, but wanted to see if anyone else has seen this. I am working on deconvoluting the software, but that is in progress.

In DVDFab, I've found several locations that seem to relate, but they have not effect.

Sorry, this may be a bit outside the scope of these forums, but looking for help. And on the offchance that it may not be DVDFab (codec? PVRX2? timing of issue could be tied to my latest upgrade?)

I'm having a couple of problems with the categories filter in moviewiz.

Firstly, when I start moviewiz, the filter is on 'All Movies'. If I select that field and press down I'll go to the next category (comedy), but it is impossible to return to 'All Movies' by pressing up. The only way to get back to it is by scrolling through every category by repeatedly pressing down.

Secondly, I am unable to see any evidence of the existence of the 'What's New' category. I have ticked the box in plugin settings/misc and set it to display anything from the last 14 days as new, but it's not a selectable category. What's going wrong here?

I'll watch one recording - no problems

If I then stop watching this and select a second recording to watch I get no audio

Anyone else have this or can give me any pointers?

When I want to play a recorded show, if I have the show highlighted in the Recordings menu and press the Play button on my remote, it plays the show. However, if I watch half the show, go back to the Recordings menu and hit the Play button again, it starts the show from the beginning (as if I had hit enter to get the details and then hit the Play button). Can I get it to resume instead of starting over from the beginning?

Hopefully someone can help. I just bought my first tv capture card - a Hauppage HVR-3000, and finally managed to get WinTV installed (bizarrely the CD that come with it didn't have it). Anyway, I know that the card works because I can see stations there.

In gbpvr I drop out to the main menu. Taking a look at the logs this seems to be the problem, but I've not got a scooby what that means!

I keep getting random crashes during image lookup or when doing image grabs. It's not consistent, so I can't tell you what I'm doing exactly. Anyone hear of that?

I am unable to register lame.ax in order to use the DVB-T plug-in. The message I get from Regsvr32 is:

[INDENT]LoadLibrary("C:\Windows\system32\lame.ax") failed - This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix the problem.[/INDENT]

I've been unable to find a solution to this problem, either here or elsewhere. When I try to scan for channels using the plug-in, it can't find any, which is hardly surprising given that the lame.ax is not registered.

Any suggestions?

Hi,

Since 1.3.7 I can't play any recordings done with HD-PVR.

Either it freezes the application and I have to kill it, or there's nothing on the screens and the counter is fast forwarding like crazy or it does nothing and I have to hit the right mouse button to go back to the Recordings menu.

I have tried CORE AVC decoder and ArcSoft but nothing seems to work. I can play the video fine on other players so I know it's not recording's fault.
