I have seen this particular problem a few times now. A scheduled program starts to be recorded and I try to start watching it from the Pending Recordings screen about 15 minutes into the program. When I select Play GBPVR hangs for about 30 seconds before I can move around the menus again. If I leave the recording to finish I end up with an empty (zero byte) .ts file so it appears as though the recording is lost.
This happened last night while recording Heroes on TV3 at 8:30pm. I have attached the log files. I did notice this Unexpected Error in the pvrx2.log when trying to playback the file.

I have recently put together this mp3 collection, some of which has chinese characters as their filenames. GBPVR is able to display the files within its music library, but it is not able to play the files, while the files plays fine under WMP. Any suggestions?

We do not need guides for "Icon and Name" or "Icon and Number", ect.
All TV Guides will/must have all 4 options in the config.xml file.
I can't check now, but I don't know if that value is available in the Settings screen. If not, maybe we have the skinplugin alter that value for us as an option?
These are the currently possible <TVGuideChannelHeaderType> selections.
0 = icon + name
1 = number + name
2 = name
3 = app decides which to used based on the number of channels with icons available.
4 = is a new option which gives the icon+name combination.
Currently I've got a FireDTV capture card which is ear marked for Sky+ receiving. However, I would like to supplement this with an additional card(s) to offer Freesat. What is the most appropraite dual-channel card that will work with Freesat including HD?
Sometimes when I press the Power button on the PCH to return to the normal PCH source screen the screen just goes blank and I have to power off the unit.
Is this a GBPVR config issue or an NMT issue, any ideas?
Now I have the PCH running successfully with my test PC running GBPVR I am planning to make things more permanent. However, currently I have all my CDs ripped to FLAC and held centrally (mainly for my Squeezebox 3 and Squeezebox Boom). What is the best fomrat for ripping DVD's?
To further clarify. I have large quantity of DVDs that I would like to rip and store centrally so that they are accessible in a library. What would be the best format to rip them to for serving by the GBPVR and streaming to the PCH?
I did have a look through the Wiki and for MVP it suggests DIVX, is this the case for PCH or should I be considering H264, xVID or any other format?
I had to move all my recordings to a different drive. To make a long story short, my list of recordings is missing recordings. So I found vidImport on the Wiki, but I save all my recordings to the root of a drive. When vidImport runs, it fails when it gets to the System Volume Information folder. Is there anyway to make it skip that folder? Thanks in advance!
