I don't know how do-able these are, but
1- allow uiList in MODE_ICON to scroll to the right/left like MODE_FILMSTRIP can, not just up and down. I like the look of Picture Library with the new Slick skin, but (to me at least) it looks like it wants to slide like the main menu in Slick, not up/down.
2- speaking of the main menu in Slick, it would be cool if the elements within uiList 'slid' like the menu items, not just jumped row to row. This would be a nice effect for every mode, regardless of up/down or left/right.
I can't use any function that utlizes the OSD while watching LiveTV, such as pressing F11, increasing the volume, or moving the mouse, or I get stuttering/jerky playback until it dissappears. Basically, I noticed my CPU spikes into the 90-100% when OSD is showing. Perhaps my low end PC can't handle 1.3.7, but it seems to me the IQ is richer than previous version and I'm hesitant to switch back to 1.2.13. Anyone have a fix or is this by design?
Edit: I should mention that the sound deosn't stutter.
First of all, I'm running XP Proffessional and a HVR-950 (USB) Tuner. I got GB-PVR to recognize it with the "BDA Recording Plugin" setting, but I can't get it to find any channels. When I go to Live TV I get the "No tuners are available for the requested channel...". What do I need to do?
johnsonx42 has brought to my attention that there may be an issue with launching roms. I am awaiting logs to look into this. In the meantime I wondered if anyone else was using this version with or without issues?

Here's my problem:
I have the computer playing HD and SD smoothly on the server.
On the client:
If i go into recordings I can play HD and SD recordings with no problems.
The taskbar is slow but if i can get the recording service status up, it shows the default blank recorders and not what my server has.
I can see the EPG, but i cannot control it. If I set a show to record on the server I can tell it is recording on the client but I cannot cancel the recording from the client. If I try to watch a channel from the client, the server never gets the request so it times out.
When I set the recordings from the server and them play them on the client, HD works fine but SD jitters badly. I have applied the patch and moved the delay all the way to 4000 with no change. Once the recording is finished, playback is perfect.
I think that's it. I have not tried the PCH as these are enough issues for now.
Let me know what I need to do to get a good set of logs.
not sure if this is of use to anyone but I've changed some of the placement for the video library metadata info as there was quite a lot of overlap if movies had long titles!
I upgraded to 1.3.7 yesterday (thanks sub) and have been experimenting with the slick skin. My resolution is set to 1024x768 and i have a number of images in the default folder that match that size. It seems whatever image i use is too large for the screen (ie - i only see 60% of the image in the gbpvr menu), is there a place i should set my screen size or should it adjust it dynamically? I hope this is a decent explanation...
This one gets me at each upgrade. :confused: Hopefully this post will make it easier for other MVP users to get the mvpicon.dll to show the little MVP status icons in the system tray after an upgrade. As sub states here you need to go to the Services screen and select the properties for the GB-PVR Recording Service, click the "Log On" tab, then select "Allow service to interact with desktop" and click OK. When you restart GB-PVR, your icons should magically reappear.
I have a Schedules Direct membership but I was playing with MC2XML last night just to try it.
Everything worked fine, but my cable co redid the lineup a while back and the MC2XML data was reflecting the old line up, not the new line up. No biggie. I could disable those channels, but I couldn't get rid of them. I removed the tuners and the warning when you do that says it removes the channel data too. It did remove most of them, but not all of them - a handful still remained. Not a big deal when I put the tuners back in it wrote hover those channels so everything is fine now, but I was curious why it didn't clear all the channels out?
