I finally upgraded NextPVR on my main media pc to version 5 after about 5 years .

I keep getting an ERROR "LoadLibrary Failed With error 87: The parameter is incorrect" whenever I try and start "NextPVR Client"

The EPG will update using the web app.

My Work Horse runs Version 5 without any problems 

I can connect to my Media PC via 192.168.1.3:8866 from a Samsung Tablet and my Windows 10 Work horse without any problems.

NOTE: I use "Remote Desktop" to access 192.168.1.3 (no spare monitor and no space)

I install nextpvr on vps server
in order to login I edit user name via config.xml

I edit user name, edit MD5 password and also MD5 Pin

I tried to restart.

/opt/nextpvr/shell/server.sh restart

I tried to login with a new user name but couldn't login (Remote access is not enabled)

Which parts need to be edited again so that I can login with vps server

Hey, NextPVR was working fine with NAT but I set my gateway to bridge mode and using cmd 'ipconfig' IPv4 address is showing my actual public IP (same as whatsmyip sites show). I can get Kodi working on NextPVR machine with 127.0.0.1 but any other computer can't connect to it unless I set "remote access" on. Any ideas how to fix without using public IPs?

Having issues whereby the web app playback of recordings does not seek to where I select, saying that it does go to the point I click but then the seek bar goes to the start of the timeline instead of the correct point in the timeline, for example the centre if you selected mid way.
Also there seems to be no resume option after exiting playback to where the video was last.

I'm using the following command to export a m3u playlist on v5 (I got the link suggestion from an earlier post on this topic)

 http://192.168.x.x:8866/service?method=channel.m3u

but instead of getting a downloaded file, another webpage opens with an error message "This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it"

Any suggestions, please?

How do I enable Remote access via config.xml

I tried to edit via config.xml like the example below but remote access is not active

Hi,

It seems the app doesn't use the local time of the appliance and use the NextPVR server time
(NAS docker in my case. The time in the NextPVR server log is the same).
I have exactly -2h difference in the time appears in the upper right corner of the app and in the TV Guide.
This is exactly the UTC/GMT offset in my location.
I have this problem in 2 different Android TVs (Sony and shield TV).
Windows NextPVR client on my laptop use the correct local time.

Does it work as expected or a missing option to set time offset which need to be added ?

I don't know whether it's the speed improvements sub listed for some clients in the update, or if my setup - subs Kodi PVR client - is even one of the clients affected , but my setup is now phenomenally fast to play recordings and skip etc.. instant!

Top stuff

I followed the install and setup guidance available on this Forum for installing comskip and carried out a live recording. Checked the logs after finding no success and am posting the log file here for help
