I noticed on my system that recording-dump.xml had not been updated in the past few days. I tried requesting an "Update EPG" from the Capture Sources page of CONFIG and noticed that the PostUpdateEPG.bat file is not being run. The EPG was updated when I did this.

If you tell me what log files would help you analyze this and whether I should set CONFIG to log on ERROR, DEBUG, etc I will create the log files for you.

I noticed while trying to map GBPVR shortcuts to my wireless keyboard, that playPause doesn't work properly.
Sub, is it possible to add a playpause function so it can be assigned to this media key? I imagine quite a few people have keyboards with media keys.

Functionality would be a toggle between play and pause, with play being the initial function to start playback.

I am running Version: 1.7.3071.20981 of Slimm GB-PVR.

If I right click on the icon in the System Tray and select "Upddate EPG" it doesn't update the EPG. From the SLimmGBPVR-exe log, I believe that it is looking for GBPVR.exe rather than PVRX2.exe. I'm not sure why but in my system, GBPVR.exe no longer exists.

I have been busy with my real job the last several months so changes have been slow. I apologize for the long time since the last update. Things are freeing up now so I should be able to get back on track with more timely releases.

This release focused on providing a plugin architecture that will allow developers to add their own tab of functionality within EWA. These plugins will not be part of the EWA release and developers are responsible for supporting/troubleshooting their plugins.

I also moved the table based screens from using a custom component for the header and footer to utilize a Master Page insted.

Specifics on plugins can be found on the wiki as can the first plugin created by Ninianne - Season Recordings Manager.

Well as the title says I am a noob when it comes to this software. I am installing the software on a brand new build with a HVR-1600 card in it. I have to assume that my troubles are because of my configuration. I am using XP Pro w/ SP3 installed and the latest version of GB-PVR.

As far as the error goes, when I click on "Watch TV" the program simply does not do anything other than stay at the main screen. If I select a different option such as "System" I can go into that menu no problem. Same thing happens if I select "Settings", it sits at the main screen.

The other problem is that when I click on "TV Guide" the program freeze completely and I have to end the program. I checked the log file and it said something about dividing by zero... last time I checked that was a bad thing. Hopefully you guys are smarter than I am when it comes to this and will be able to help me.

Can someone please clarify to me the relationship between the following batch files. They are all related to the EPG but I don't know when each is run and which application calls them.

UpdateEPG.bat: I believe this is run each time GBPVR wishes to update the EPG. In it my bat file has a line which calls xmltv-run.bat.

Two additional batch files I found in the GBPVR directory are PostUpdateEPG.bat and PostProcessing.bat.

I can't find any information about when each of these files are called and at what point in the processing they are called.

Hi, I'm using yapi2xml and it worked great for a couple weeks. However, the last couple days all the show infos are blank, displaying "No Show Details" on the tv guide. I've tried to manually update through the System menu option in pvrx2, and I tried doing update in the Capture Sources tab in config.

The only thing that's really changed I think is I changed a couple things like making some services "manual" instead of "automatic", namely SQL server services, trying to fix a problem where my computer just hangs for a half minute every 30-60 minutes (unsuccessfully)... but I restarted those services and retried the EPG updates and they still didn't go through.

Here's config and config-native logs from when I did the config update. Notably, there's one error line:

Does anyone have a good working HIP Configuration File for the Hauppauge MCE Remote? This is the PVR150 model 1062. I believe it is a 44 button remote if I counted correctly

My new PVR is working fine. Only a minor thing . . . when I'm in the TV Guide I get some noticable flicker. I played around with the different resolutions and refresh rates and it seems that Vista is only allowing 29 & 30hz for refresh rates? Should be 60hz here in the US, shouldn't it?

Any work arounds?

I've actually liked using Vista Ultimate, it's just been fairly painless, but I do I have a copy of Windows XP Pro if I need to load it up to get a higher refresh rate.

The m/b is an Asus M2NPV-VM with GEForce 6150 built on the board, I've tried Nvideo 175.19 and 163.69 drivers and am running Vista Ultimate. The TV is an old Toshiba 27" CRT.
