Not sure if this has already been covered. Latest clean install of pvrx2 under vista.
Records reliably but playback of ts files has problems with skip, fast forward, reverse. Often works well on skip but sometimes for no apparent reason - keeps skipping to the same point or sometimes skips backwards. Same with remote or keyboard controls. Reverse button sometimes reverses and sometimes goes forward. I have disabled comskip (although it is still in the GBPVR Folder) No difference. Pause will often do the same on resume - keeps going back to pause point or just does not play.

1. What if a warning message popped up in GBPVR that said something like, "hey you are running low disk space... erase something!" My live tv stopped working yesterday and i realized that i had run out of disk space...
2. Add a function under recording that says something to the effect of, "Keep until more disk space is needed" In other words, give GBPVR the ability to automatically record programs when disk space is low... This could prevent shows being recorded because of lack of disk space.
Are the decoders included with Nero 8 good to use with GB-PVR? I want to use TS-Mux with OTA ATSC broadcasts, but so far can't find a reliable set of playback codecs. At least I think the playback codecs are the problem, not really sure...
I have FIOS TV at home and have a bunch of clear channel QAM, can I scan for those? I can do it with MediaPortal but have not found a way to do that with GBPVR.
The stop button on my MCE remote works fine with MPEG file playback but for AVI file playback the stop button causes the screen to go black with no audio and my HTPC no longer responds (freezes).
I purchased an iMon Knob Remote Control (RM200)
The iMon Remote software works fine and I can make a PVRX2 group to control PVRX2.
But I have to disable the Fusion VFD to be able to start the iMon software.
Otherwise the iMon software complains that there is an Antec VFD installed.
Has anyone encountered and found a solution to this problem?
Sorry for posting this question if the solution/question was already posted before. I tried searching dvbn and also gbpvr forums, but found no such questions. If it is already been posted please redirect me to the post (link).
Ok now on to the question/problem:
i've installed the lastest MDAPI (2.2) along with GBPVR. But it seems MDAPI doesn't want to work with the "front end"/"PVRX2". I say "PVRX2" because it WILL work with the GBPVR config/scan.
After i've install gbpvr (checked MD support in misc2) and then MDAPI (also the fix) and go into the config to do a channel "scan" (even though it's already scanned), I will get the MDAPI icon in the system tray and see that emunation is runing just fine. I can even get video and audio in the channel scan preview window. However when i close the config window, MDAPI icon disappers. I start PVRX2 and go to a channel and the MDAPI icon never starts.
It seems MDAPI wants to work with the gbpvr channel scan preview window but not the actual gbpvr window.
Please let me know whats going on and how to fix this. I have tried different versions of MDAPI and had no luck. i've used MDAPI before (with MediaPorta) but here is the file structure i was using:
