If using pvrx2, navigating the TV Guide with the mouse, I can do most things - dbl-click to go into a program, set to record, view or escape, etc... but only for what what is currently visible.
I have more than a 'screenful' or channels, so I have to navigate up/down with the keyboard (I cannot use a mouse scrollwheel, so not sure if that works). Similarly how do you move left-right thru the guide without a keyboard?
Is it possible to add little up/down arrows somewhere? Afterall they are available in the list of recordings, so why not in the TV guide too. Same for the left-right navigation.
Failing this (or if this feature is rejected for aesthetics), how about auto-scroll 'hotspots' at the sides?
Either way, it'd probably be good to allow the user to configure this on or off...
Pressing F7 to cycle thru the different aspect ratios/screen resolutions. There are quite a few, and I may change between two that are ideal for most situations, say the 5th and 6th ones. But if I want to go from the 6th to the 5th one, I have to cycle thru all of them to get back to the 5th one.
Would it be possible please to allow a shift-F7 to go in the reverse order. Also useful if you go past the setting you meant to choose, or want to go back & forth between two settings to see which is best for a particular program.
Hi, went into TV Guide last night and set the NZ-Aus rugby on Prime to record. But checking this morning, there is no recording - I've missed the game! What a pain in the ****
I've looked at the GBPVR logs and it looks like it tried to start recording at 10:29 (correct), although it indicates some issue... Note also it DID create a folder ("International Rugby") in my Recordings, but nothing is in it. I have no mention of the recording in 'conflicts', 'pending', or 'whats new' (unlike another time when both devices of my dual tuner were busy and a failed recording was there and with the status 'failed', which made sense).

Hi to all. I have this problem, when playing a movie that is in two parts, etc cd1.avi and cd2.avi, the gbpvr stops when the first avi ends and i have to start the second part of the movie manual. The two parts are in the same folder. Is there a solution to regognise gbpvr that the two avi are parts of the same movie and must be played the one after the other???
I read tonight that Microsoft is now announcing alliances based on Protected BDA drivers from leading manufactures including Hauppauge superseding BDA. BDA is bad enough being a Windows standard what more can they do?
I hate that word "Protected", I really think Microsoft wants to own all our media. Still I hope that this won't hurt GBPVR and the other non VMC players.
Heroes starts on Monday 9/22 and there is a 1 hour show from 8-9pm, then the actual show from 9-11pm. I set a timer to "Record all episodes on this channel" and the only show it flagged to record (checked with Recordings->Pending) was the 8-9pm show. I tried setting a recurring recording via TV Guide (which would then be using GB-PVR and not SearchWiz) and had the same problem. The only way I could get the 9-11pm show to be in Recordings->Pending was to remove the recurring timer and set a Quick Record for the 9-11pm show. I use SchedulesDirect for EPG.
Would anyone use a Comedy Central plugin? They have a lot of their shows online, so I figure I could develop a plugin to initial allowing viewing The Daily Show and Colbert Report, and add more depending on how hard/easy it is.
I have notice quite a few messages from new users recently that their card is not listed on the wiki & think it is probably time we reviewed that page.
I have extracted a list of all the digital(I think it is only digital??) cards from the bda.ini but can't think of the best way to add this list to the wiki apart from just attaching the list which is a bit (as sub would put it) "Yuck"
I have done these steps before successfully to upgrade from a smaller drive to larger:
I keep the recordings on a separate drive. I shut down GBPVR + recording service, used robocopy to copy all 600gigs of OTA recordings to the new drive. I then rebooted, making sure GBPVR and the RS did not load. I removed the old drive, changed the drive letter of the new drive and confirmed the path to the Recordings was the same as before.
When I load GBPVR and view the recordings, there is only one entry, where there used to be over 50 before the disk swap.
Is there anyway for GBPVR to re-inventory the recordings folder? Or what am I missing here?
FYI, at the time before I did the drive swap, i had another XP workstation map to the GBPVR directory and perform a backup with the native backup program. Just wanted to add everything I did during this upgrade.
