Hi, I have an analog/digital hybrid card (hauppage hvr2200). Digital Live TV is fine at the moment. On the Analog side I'm tuned into 2 channels, Triangle TV and Prime. I can watch Tri TV fine, and I used to be able to watch Prime ok too.

Now when I go to the TV Guide, click Prime, when I select watch, the next screen comes up (blank) then immediately drops back to the TV Guide. It's been doing this for a couple of days now. I haven't knowingly changed anything in the setup in the last few days. Where do I start looking as to the cause of this? (Nothing obvious jumped out and hit me when I looked at the logs).

I have a Theater Pro 550 that I have been using with PVRX and a myHD card for OTA. I use schedules direct as a program guide in PVRX and Titian TV for the myHD card. I can play back the HD files in PVRX fine, but would like to integrate the programming guide inside PVRX to include the myHD card. Possible? Thanks.

It's been a while since I upgraded, so I just upgraded to 1.2.13 and updated all my plugins. I now have 20 PVRX2 processes running that are grinding my PC to a halt. I'm not recording anything--I don't even have a TV card installed. What's going on?

I had 6 movies downloaded when I had 1.0.2.2 installed. I then installed 1.0.2.3, ran it, and it needed to update the list. It downloaded the list, and then I went to Downloads and there were 0 items. I browsed to where I configured the Netflix dir, and the Downloads.xml file was 0 bytes.

Also could you add keyboard support? I was trying to navigate the menu with cursor keys, but it wouldn't take Enter as the OK button.

My computer has been out of service for a few weeks and since I started it back up the epg isn't updating correctly. After running the epg update it fills in upto 5pm of the first day and then stops. All entries after that are empty. I've attached the logs. Anyone that could give me an idea what's happened would be much appreciated.

I don't know if anyone can help me with this, but here goes!

I have a HVR-3000 set up with GB-PVR (PVRX2). I'm using the drivers that came with WinTV 4.6b
Rest of my system is WnXP SP3, P4 2.53, Geforce 6200 with 256mb and soundblaster 'live!' soundcard.

Anyway, Sometimes (quite often, maybe 1 in 3) the card crashes when I switch from 1 dvb-s channel to another. Even if I go via the TV guide. When this hapens, GB-PVR has to close down and after I get the 'no signal' display. At the moment, I'm having to reboot the machine to 'reset' the card.

Something similar also happens in WinTV so I guess it's a card/driver/conflict type problem.

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Some of mine have a * and others do not and I can't figure out the rhyme or reason.

I am new to GBPVR but let me say that this is a great app.

I have one question for sub.
Here in NA we have many DVB-S "STB's" that get "lots of stuff". There are some with a feature called Themes. This is basically a feature that allows you to flip through all the program genres. Movies, sports etc. This is all gleaned from the epg.

Now when GBPVR populates the DB from the epg we see stuff like:
Movie. Hellboy
or
Hellboy movie.
in the info.

It would be nice to have the parser search the string for these strings (Movie, Specials/Series, Sports, Adult, Education and the like) and set the genre accordingly and maybe have a Themes function to choose so you could scroll through the genres.

I know this may not be a priority but it would be a nice to have.

My GBPVR works great...except for one channel. It is the local NBC affiliate (WRC in Washington DC). It used to work fine but now it is barely watchable. The entire picture is fuzzy and both audio and video stall at points.

Anybody have any thoughts? The problem occurs in both Live TV mode and recording mode.

***SORRY: IGNORE THIS POST. I fooled around with the cable wires and got it working. I think I may have too many splitters.

I don't know what I've done to break this, but recordings of BBC HD are playing back with the narrative audio, which is extremely annoying (I don't even know what possible use it has?)

Is anyone else in the UK who records BBC HD seeing this? Has something changed or have I somehow broken something?

Can anyone confirm that 2329 is the correct PID for the non-narrative audio?
