I have been looking for an answer for this all night so sorry if it has already been covered. I have a Kworld 315u that I just picked up today. It is detected as a kworld 330u (brackets were messed up in the bda.ini file for the 330u, note for next release maybe).

When I scan for channels, it only scans up to 68. All of my HD channels are at 100 and above, mostly to 120. I have been using Gbpvr for many years, but I am brand new to hd stuff.

Will this card not work for me, it says it will support 64-QAM and 256-QAM. On the box it says it will support Clear-QAM. I am in Dallas, TX with Comcast cable. My TV picks up the HD signals over channel 100 without any problem.

(edit: oh yea, I did try it with the built in software, Total media or whatever. That does nto pick up any channels other than analog either.)

Well I finally decided to bite the bullet and finally got the "wifeys" approval to order upgraded componants.

When I saw that C# 2008 SP1 was out I thought it might be fun to see what it takes to make a plugin and I was shocked to see how easy it really is especially considering I never touched C# or .NET before. Good job to everyone involved. Now I want to try and play with something.

The first thing I thought might be nice was seeing if I could approximate an Apple-type Cover Flow interface. Search google for "coverflow demo" and there are lots of example and it looks like fun eye-candy.

Does this sound possible from a plugin or am I wasting my time? If a plugin can use WPF/XAML it might be easier too so is this possible?

I'm quite new to this wonderful program and have having issues.

First I have windows XP Pro SP2 with an ATI 9600 video card. I purchased a TV Wonder Pro.

I installed the GMPVR10213.msi and then the vcredist_x86.exe, the first loaded fine but the second gave me a load window then sat there for a minute or two and went away, perhaps that's normal.

The program runs fine as I get to the nice blue screen but when I try to settings the TV Wonder Pro card is not in the list.

I hope that's enough information as the rest of the settings are over my head.

I have been using MovieWiz for a long while now and really enjoy this plug-in.

I currently close to 1000 entries in my db. I have been able to categorize my movies and series quite successfully,

I have however found myself creating more and more categories to manage my tv series. For example “Series – Friends”, “Series – CSI”.


I was wondering if you might consider creating a special series category in the future that functions almost like the Recordings plug-in in the main app.

For example:

First select Category: Series

This will then produce a list of all the Series for example Friends, CSI, Greek…..

When select one of these series a list of all the episodes will appear.

I think that this “sub category” structure might require some big changes to your underlining framework and db design.

I use DvbViewer instead of gbpvr because I can record multiple pid's from one mux at a time with a dvb-s card. I was wondering if I installed gbpvr and used it with an MVP if I would be able to access files recorded from dvbviewer. In other words, is there a way to automatically import other files into gbpvr's recording list. And if that is possible, can the files be viewed and deleted from the mvp. I can record as .tp or .mpg with DvbViewer but prefer .tp.

I believe GBPVR client can be installed in PCH.

Does anybody know the url where i can get more info on installing GBPVR in PCH?

I'm trying to view ITV HD but get no video, audio is OK. I've entered the ITV HD data from another post into scan.cache and have added it as a channel OK. I get no video both when using PVRX2 from a remote PC and when viewing from an NMT. However, when I view ITV HD locally on the server, everything is fine.

I can view BBC HD fine remotely on both PVRX2 and the NMT, just not ITV HD, both are h264 I believe not I'm not sure what else is different (I know ITV HD uses S2 tuning for example).

Any ideas? Logs + config.xmls attached.

Hi,

I've been using the pluging since early release and it's been great. Something odd has happened recently which I don't understand.

My scan used to show 25 channels and icons which all worked fine but a few days ago I discovered if I clicked on "Heart", the playing logo comes up but I get no sound. If I click on "Virgin", I get sound.

At first I thought it was just "Heart" but then I discovered it was 90% of the stations that had stopped working.

I knew there had been some recent Freeview changes so I decided to do a re-scan to see if any frequencies etc had changed. The scan failed with no channels found.

Checking the Wiki I saw the notes that I needed the latest version of the plugin so I downloaded, installed and updated LAME as well.

When I started the plugin, it scans for channels and finds the same number as before but only a handful of them are identified, the others are flagged as unknown.

Thought I'd check the channels.csv file but I can't find one. Has it become obsolete?

When I click on one of the identified channels (e.g. Virgin), it plays fine. If I click on one of the unknown ones, the "Playing" icon comes up "Unknown" but there's no sound.

So now I'm reduced to 5 DVB-T channels that work

Any idea what's going on? Logs attached including the original Channels.csv file from before the upgrade.
