anyone have any time to work on a iphone webapp for this?

eventually i would prefer a full out iphone sdk app (which ill work on once i figure out objective c and get some spare time), but in the mean time a webapp would do.

yeah i know i could do this myself, and probably will if no one else picks it up, but i really dont have any spare time these days to work on it - so would take ages for me to get this out.

so anyone with asp.net knowledge have free time to work on this?

Sorry to bring this here but I'm at my wits end.

I finally decided to take the plunge and upgrade from 1.0.16 using the old GB-PVR interface (which I still like I have to say), mainly because I didn't want to get left behind with plug-in developments.

1.0.16 is quite an old version now so I decided to delete contents of the gbpvr folder (carefully saving it somewhere else just in case!) and start from scratch with the new. I also stopped the recording service and all other processes conceivably connected with GBPVR. I also made sure that .Net 2.0 was properly installed.

The installer for 1.2.13 will not install however, getting right to the end of the install progress bar before rolling everything back, deleting files and registry entries, and reporting an error. The only logs I can find are the system logs, and simply report error 7034 - the Windows Installer terminated unexpectedly, the app msiinstaller reports error 11708. Helpful old Microsoft, as ever.

I'm running XP SP2 that's been stable since I built the dedicated PC over two years ago, and 1.0.16 has been up and running for months without needing attention, so the OS is not the problem.

I have searched here and haven't been able to find the problem. Any pointers would be gratefully received - I'm strongly inclined at this moment to head straight back to a version that I know works...

I have GBPVR running on a Vista x64 Enterprise box, but I get a problem while recording and when I try to watch live TV. I have the most updated drivers for my Hauppauge PVR150 card and the latest version of GBPVR, and I installed the vcredist. I have the K-Lite codec pack installed, and .NET 2.0 came with the OS.

Just a week ago I had all of this working on an XP x64 box. My config is the same, except that I don't have access to my Cyberlink codecs because (surprise surprise) my version is incompatible with Vista.

When I try to watch live TV, the app crashes, but the GBPVR recordin service tray icon stays green and the status claims that I'm watching live TV. Even when I open PVRX2 back up and try to watch a different channel, it says I don't have an available tuner. Restarting the recording service eliminates the status error of the recording service, but it doesnt' solve any problems.

Recorded TV has jittery or no video at all, and the audio is also jittery. Any thoughts? I'll send whatever logs you want, just let me know!

Apologies for the X-Post, I thought this was an MVP Problem, but I think it's a general one as it's not only the same on the PCH, I also don't seem to get a file that grows in the LiveTV Buffer (although Live TV Works) and when I try to pause LiveTV it doesn't timeshift and make a file, all I get is balck screen. That behaviour probably explains why I don't get anything at all the MVP as I understand that MVP is always in Timeshift on LiveTV.

I attach logs but just to let you know background, I was trying to get client working with Vista-Vista and mucked around a lot with shares on the Vista Server, ended up with continuously recording Manual recordings, uninstalled, deleted and reinstalled GBPVR with the old database and config.xml restored. Recordings seem to work OK (at least last night 2 worked) but LiveTV is out of whack.

The D:\GBPVRLiveTVBuffer is a local drive, and I have set Full Control for Guest, Admin, User and SYSTEM for that Share as well as Full Security Permissions for that folder. Do you think it's still a share problem?

Hi guys, I'm still playing around with GBPVR setup and I've almost gotten a functional PVR. With my current setup, I have a twinhan 1020a connected to 2 LNB. LNB1 -> sat 110, LNB2 -> sat 119.

:confused: The problem :
For some odd reason, channels from LNB 2 just display a black screen.

I've verified that channels on sat 119 do work (using dvbdream). I've enabled multidec support, and mdapi re-use (and also without re-use). I've also tried from a blank gbpvr.db3 with new dvbs card added without success

Pelase see log files attached. In pvrx2.exe-native.log, it logs the attempt to switch channel "119 Unknown3" (worked great). When I switch to "124 BET", then it just displayed black screen.

Just in case anyone's wondering as to how the tuning request has numbers (ie: 124 BET vs BET), I did write a script that would go through and parse down the service id and prefix it at the end of cache files. PM me if you're interested in that script.

I am not a big gamer and I am having trouble picking a cheap video card. My current FX 5200 has served me well until now, with PVRX2, overlay does not work as well as the old interface, and I would like to use other renderers.

I am looking for something around $50 that is AGP, I do not want to make a big investment since sooner or later I will be replacing my motherboard.

I prefer Nvidia since I had good luck with it so far.

Here are my needs

smooth playback of the following in vmr9 or EVR

- ATSC HD 720p and 1080i
- 720 MKV files
- Many other AVIs that are less than 720p

Fanless is preferred, I already have enough fans in my case.

I have done much research, but most people review cards for gaming purposes. I am also surprised that prices have not fallen that much (my $5200 is around 25, I bought it for $40 three years ago) I do not want to spend much on AGP now. I also do not want to get something that will fall short.

Has anyone got any idea why sometimes there is a noticeable delay between programs when scrolling left and right in the EPG using the cursor keys? Sometimes it is acceptably speedy, but at others it's like wading through treacle.

When are we to see more Video Bitrate options under streaming ?
So far its only 128 , 256 , 512 and lan.
Upload streams like 800 , 1000 ,1500 over the Internet is quite normal where I live .
I am not an expert in programming but this program does what other programs need a 100 mb to do the same thing or less !

The events I follow are volleyball (mens, womens), football/soccer, wrestling, boxing. Outside of the U.S., is the olympics a big national television event in your respective part of the world???

I have just installed MovieWiz and this looks like a very promising plugin. I have been a MyVideos user for a long time. While the plugin works fine, I have a couple of items, may be you can add them to a wish list:

1. The plugin display is cluttered and not easy to navigate (wife and kids). The arrow keys behave differently when in categories vs the movie list.

2. The font is too small on a tv screen to easily read movie names and details, the font should be larger. I have a 50" TV.

3. No icon view mode, this is very helpful for me and my family, especially in categories as well as individual movies, it is easier to navigate

4. No "save" button on the plugin settings application

5. Cover art for categories when they become available as icons

6. Some capability to scan/add movies from within the plugin once they are available on the HD
