I am currently running GBPVR 1.2.13 with the latest ICL using the Community Skin Wave-Blue. When I check on a movie's Info screen I am missing the hour portion of the runtime. I went back to default Blue skin and have the same issue. Is this a skin issue or ICL? Included is a screenshot.
Should skiptool show any of my dvr-ms files? I was using skiptool all the time, but now that I've moved over to digital, all my recordings are dvr-ms and do not show up in the directory listings within skiptool. Should I be seeing them, or is there a reason I can't edit my skips for dvr-ms files?
I have just had to go through rebuilding my GBPVR main PC. It has shown me that some of the emulators are not easy to get going the first one I have come across is Zinc, its a pig to get working particularly with the controllers. so I am going to look at re-doing the zinc integration, I am also not too happy at how long it takes to show all the games for zinc so I will see if that can be improved.
As I add more emulators to my main PC I will look for improvements. My hat goes off to the people who got Zinc working in Gamezone!!
I have GBPVR up and running with one Avermedia TVHND MCE A180 tuner running unter XP Pro SP2. I'm sure my PC is configured well enough to support two tuners. I picked-up a second A180 tuner and installed it. My problem is that I can't seem to get XP to see the two cards. I gbpvr config I set up the second card and it seemed to scan for channels and everything. Although, it is not actually the second card. I know the two cards work as expected when installed in the PC by themselves. So, most likely not a problem with one of the cards.
I think the Avermedia drivers supports two cards because their Media Center program mentions it. But, I can't get the two cards configured with that program either.
Anyone using two of these tuners with the latest version of gbpvr?
I want to get an istar but just want to make sure it is silent like the PCH and will work with GBPVR. I notices in the picture it has a large heatsink or fan,
Please comment as to where i should go with the istar or just stick with the pch, as i already have one and it works well, but am interestes in the sata connection the istar offers
I was wondering if there is a way to set up a backup recording drive. I am about to go out of town for 10 days and will be recording the Olympics in HD while I am gone. I will have a drive with about 350gb which is my recording drive, but I have about 100gb on another drive on the system I would like to have kick in if it was needed. Any way to accomplish this? I know I really need a larger drive, but at this point it is really not an option.
I can no longer record or view live tv. My system specs are in my sig. Running latest version of GB-PVR which worked fine up till Tuesday evening. I've had no recording since then as far as I can tell. Logs attached.
Plugin - Memory utilization improvement when storing images in db.
Plugin - Ctrl-R (Red button) will now allow you to import recordings OR files from default location(s) on HD (defined in config, see below)
MovieWizManager - Fixed ability to remove extensions from list on External Players tab.
MovieWizManager - Added Default Locate Locations (Settings 1). These directories will ALL automatically be searched from config Load process OR plugin import process (Ctrl-R or Red button on remote)
I have just finished a clean install of GBPVR. Everything seems to be working well except the remote control. The remote works with GBPVR except when a recording or timeshift tv is playing. Then only every 6-10th button pressed is picked up. I am using a WinLIRC and iRex with a harmony remote. Anyone know how to fix this?
