I don't use live preview mode, so I'm recording whenever I pull up a channel -- when in live TV, there doesn't seem to be a way to pull up the progress bar without either pausing, FF, or Rew.

This is a bit inconsistent with the way <ctrl> B works in recordings or DVD.

Is there a setting I can change somewhere to make the progress bar appear with the info screen in "LiveTV" like it does in "recordings"?

I just upgraded to 1.2.13, and it's like a fresh install. Doesn't see my recordings, or my scheduled recordings, or my channel configs. Everything is gone.

I think what must have happened is that I had the old one installed in c:\program files\gbpvr, but then the new one went to c:\program files\devnz\gbpvr, so it thought it was a new install.

My files (and backups) are still there at c:\program files\gbpvr, so nothing has actually been lost. I just need to figure out how to get gbpvr installed so that it sees them.

So, what do I do now? I'm afraid to uninstall, and I'm afraid to reinstall. If I start the installer it prompts me to choose repair, modify, or uninstall (I think.)

Any advice?

I was wondering if this was only on my setup. It takes a while to come up on the server to make changes, but that isn't my concern. My concern is when I open movie wiz within GBPVR from my PCH (the only place I use it), it takes a while to come up. I'm not talking minutes, but enough to start second guessing that I pressed enter on my remote. Once it comes up, it runs smooth and there are no issues at all. It's not a big deal, but I just wanted to know if everyone has this or is there something wrong with my setup.

I recorded a program today, and played it back. There was sound for the first minute, and then for the remainder of the program, there was no sound. I'm leaning toward thinking this was only a problem with the channel I was recording at that time, because I recorded another program on the same channel later in the day and it was fine. Is there a way to be certain the cause of the problem? Thanks.

I have the GBPVR10105.msi installed. The GBPVR10209.msi didn't work well. I have an XP machine with plenty of horsepower, memory and video. When GBPVR loads it has the old icon in the tray and then swaps over to the new icon tray.

When the computer load, it either doesn't load the GBPVR recording service, or it shuts it down. I can use the tray icon to restart the recording serivce and everything is fine unless the machine is restarted.

Any suggestions?

I realise the analogue component to the HVR3000 maybe in it's infancy. But the theory for blasting is the same.

Does the standard Hauppauge Blaster control the NZ Sky boxes? I'm thinking of the small White (Pace I think) boxes.

I'm just trying to think of the minimum amount of hardware I can get away with getting for a small system for my parents..

running PVRX2 v1.2.9 as this seems to have been more stable with DVB-S recently. Decided today to do a rescan as channels keep swapping etc. After tweaking got my FiredTV to pick up everything I wanted. Then did a rescan with my Nova S Plus. Most channels found so took settings from my scan cache file from the FiredTV device and stuck them into the scan cache for Nova S for the missing channels. NO JOY!

For instance this is the entry that works for Zone Thriller with the FiredTV:

T:12560,V,27500,23~NID:32~ONID:2~TSID:2602~P:54110~V:2335~A:2336~L:eng~PMT:264~PCR:2335~N:>Zone Thriller

I paste that into the cache for the Nova and does it work? Bo**ocks :confused:

Nova has latest drivers installed etc.

I'm trying to set up the bda.ini file (and anything else that's needed) to work with a terratec cinergy xxs, I've tried filling in the settings using graphedit to detect the filters but after I choose the adaptor in the Recording source settings box it didn't find the adaptor when I try to perform any function.

This is my current bda.ini entry:
