And if i understand it right the analog part of this card is not supported in GB-PVR because of a mpeg 2 codec problem.
I was wondering, if i wanna buy another tv card (by usb for me) which one is good and well suported inside GB-PVR?
Or maybe there is a solution so the HVR-900 works?

just been thinking about your comment regarding my clone mode suggestion. If the second machine always plays back the mp3 file from the beginning, does this imply that the mp3 file grows indefinitely from the time its started until the disk is full?
The software installation seemed to work. The tuning assistant can find channels.
I manually entered a channel in the device configuration. I entered a channel name and "55250000" in the channel number (that's the frequency reported by TA).
I ran the MuxChecker -- it reports no multiplexer filters were found. I'm running SP2.

I just got my GBPVR back up and running (after a 1 year hiatus), and eyerthing was working fine, execpt for certain channels, 15-21 (analog Cable tuning) had several vertical lines of noise/distortion.
It looked like RF interference. It was found that the FM antenna (the one that came with my 150 MCE) was causing it.
Removing the antenna (that was connected to the FM input on the back of the 150 MCE) cleared up the problem channels.
The frequencies associated with those frequencies are, I think (from my scanning hobby) pagers.

Both are in good physical condition and work just fine with SageTV. The second one has been in a box since I moved over from BeyondTV. I have just decided I don't need both of them and if I could sell them both I'll use the money towards a SageTV HD100 Extender.
Neither are wireless.
One has the new-MCE style remote (like the one in this photo). This one has a few minor scratches on the base, but the remote looks great and the MVP and remote works just fine.
The other one has zero scratches and both the base and remote looks great. This one has the older-style, silver remote.
I'll post some photos later today and link to them in this thread. I stand behind my word that they work great so if there were any problems I'd take either back and refund all monies.

I have just installed GB-PVR v1.2.13, and have found a couple of issues.
1) when performing a manual record the program does not write the recorded material to disk.
2) settings main menu option opens for a second and then closes. (this is previously noted in another thread.

I have Live TV working well and are pleased with the system, however if i try and record the stream is NOT written to disk.
I had a look in the log files and the file names it appears to be looking to write to are invalid....please find logs enclosed
the system creates the "Manual recordings" folder, so i am assuming this isn't a windows permissions issue
i have tried various settings for the store folders and in all cases the file names either include spaces at the start of the file name or concatenations of the previous and latest paths (thus introducing 2 C:\ into the string)
any ideas?

I seem to have the same problem as the previous poster and cant figure out why so I'll zip you the logs if I may, perhaps you can make sense of them. No sound, always says its scanning and crashes GB-PVR so that I have to use task manager to get out of it.
